No. They're are just stopping with updates and Splatfests. Which is retarded because the game is booming, is mostly online and we're also paying for NSO.

It sold over 8 million so it definitely won't be the last one. And you can still play the normal multiplayer modes even after the splatfests are done, they're just a monthly event

I wanted to enjoy this game so much, but I just can't seem to play it regularly. I love it and it's hard for me to put it back down when I get into it, but other games keep grabbing my attention instead. I've missed out on nearly every splatfest.
