The team behind Astro Bot. They understand the importance of responsive controls and varied level design, as well as having an overall soul. Astro Bot is incredibly polished for consistently introducing new gameplay and level ideas. So even if the new Ape Escape wasn't VR, I think they'd still deliver a game of similar quality.

The only spin offs worth mentioning are Pumped and Primed, Million Monkeys and Big Mission.

Originape hurts my ears most of the tracks are way inferior
If you like 1, you'll likely enjoy 2&3. 2 feels quite weird and slow in terms of controls, and the music is lackluster in comparison with a different composer. 3 fixes those problems but the level design is a lot more linear
2 has the best minigame and 3 has mesal gear solid.
It's still good but it's the worst of the three, there's no real cohesion to the environments, the new gadgets are gimmicky and only used to beat specific time wasting enemies and the music doesn't hold a candle either.
