I still think it's coming. If you check out the gameplay of 'Boneworks' they mention they've been working with Valve on their VR. The first enemy resembles a headcrab.
Valve are also rehiring some of their writers.

That you persist in this is sad and pathetic.
Someone tied to the project comes out and says it's not a real game, that it's basically a doctored vertical slice and nothing in it is functional outside of what was shown. To be fair, the guy in charge of the studio is a dick. The same is true of GSC and other companies that make good games though.
A Russian game journalist got to play the game twice in response to what happened.
