Because it looks good, Granblue has the best characters/lore/setting and Cygames has more money than god so all the tournaments will have huge pots.

There's like 20 novels worth of story at this point, you're better off just playing the game yourself. The beginning of the main story is kind of generic but once the monster of the week Primal stuff stops it gets really good. There's also a ton of really good story events, the main highlight obviously being What Makes the Sky Blue 1-3.

FGO is literally one of the worst gatcha, GBF you can get by without spending anything because of all the free rolls, I've got about 30 SSRs just from that alone without spending.
The rate-ups are absolute nonsense though, so I wouldn't try to be F2P if there's a specific character you want, you'll have to save to spark for them and that could take a literal year depending.

In addition to what people have said about free rolls they also give out enough tickets and crystals that it's feasible to save up 300 rolls over a few months, which will then allow you to pick any SSR in the current pool when you use all 300 of those rolls. They've also started giving out SSR characters for collabs (and Sandalphon) which are usually decent. Right now Sandalphon, the Love Live, and Princess Connect characters are always there to grab, with Code Geass happening sometime in June with at least one character up for grabs.

Should be noted that dreams in GBF can both be entered and shared. The second event had them get three girls to share their delusions even after all six were completely asleep. The third event led to someone who wasn't even in their vicinity began dreaming in their hallucination-lore. Unrelated to these events are two characters who can enter dreams and have gotten several other characters to do so anyway.
What I'm saying is their hallucinations maybe kinda sorta barely might be happening to an extent in some capacity.

It's not just the timeline, it's that nothing fits together. A large part of lore is world building, and Granblue's world building is not very good. It never at any point fits together into a believable world.
This is probably why there's absolutely no coincidence that the best Granblue events are character driven or the ones that say "lol who gives a shit no one takes this seriously anyways" and you get something dumb and over the top like Platinum Sky.

Normals are even more Trex than SFV, game has no fucking combos and the few combos it does have are non-existent if the one special you can combo into is on cooldown, on that note cooldowns do not belong in a fighting game, the game is even slower than Blade Strangers. This game is awful, I didn't think Arcsys could do worse than DBFZ but here we are.

The hitboxes on EX DPs in this game is INSANE. They're literally just a free, safe wakeup. Half of the shit you can do with one R1 tap in this game is safe, at that.

Charge your sword up to level 5 and each level adds a different property to the move, once you let go of the button you do the attack but at full charge you can keep it. It's best used to force an enemy to approach you and if they try to hit you you level raise them because the attack gets armor past a certain point.
SF2 combos have baby combos as well. Actually most of the combos for that game are baby combos.
