Gonna disagree. Rex's clothing style looks unappealing to me but most other primary characters look pretty good even the ones designed by Tetsuya Nomura. I will say you can disagree with the clothing choices and emphasis on sexuality(pyra) but the way the art is drawn and rendered is of high quality.
Some of the designs look weird but the way they're drawn isn't the problem, they're just not good designs. Three Houses doesn't have bad designs, but the way they're drawn makes it look like the game was made by a fucking amateur.

Leak got more shit right thanks to the Famitsu translation showing they weren't lying about Mercedes being religious and more, but no timeskip pics. If leak is real the time skip is "act 2" of the game, so it will likely stay a plot-twist secret til release if its real.
