a) using malware tactics/deceitful updates to forcefully distribute itself
b) on first install fucking up the administrative settings so hard that a half of my programs couldn't access appdata and therefore couldn't work
c) deleting the files that were supposed to let me roll back to W7 way ahead of schedule
d) on second install getting stuck in a permanent update loop
And what changed since then? Oh right, MS completely shut down their QA branch, I'm sure that helped.

There are a bunch of games that "just work" in a standard install of Fedora or Ubuntu, and a game like Doom actually runs more efficiently in the case of the Vulkan driver.

The cloud is going to be using Linux to run these games on servers, so we'll definitely be getting better support at some point.

It appeared with recent update somewhere in "personalize". It's not too great as far as dark themes go though.

I'm saying that as someone who uses it regularly for basically everything that isn't vidya including really low-level systems programming. It's an objectively better system than Windows and MacOS in almost every regard except gaming and graphics.
It just has way too many quirks and requires too much technical knowledge to make normies want to give up their nice, stable, error-hiding Windows and MacOS environments to spend hours fucking around in the terminal and installing obscure utilities just for vidya. And companies would sooner release streaming only games than provide native Linux support like epic sabotaging proton.

Is the entirety of C:\ in the index? By default the start menu search only looks for shit in your user directory and the start menu itself. Either make a shortcut for your app in the start menu or index the entire disk before shitposting.

It only indexes certain areas, which is something they're actually fixing in this month's update.

I like Windows 10 because it can mount iso files in a click.
