95% hit rate.
It is only like 8 hits to kill him lmao

>picking anything over a greatsword ever
not even a question

The sword because it hits for 57 damage average while the dagger is only 50

i roll to seduce the dragon

Dual wield

What would you do in this situation?

Wield the greatest sword. Dick.

depends on whats the attack speed on both weapons

i live life on the edge so i'll go with the short curved dagger my man

see

1.1 attacks per second on the dagger, .9 on the sword.

I'm a dexfag but clearly the sword. Knives are like shitty versions of dragon claws. The sword has reach, power, width and the ability to crush armor with secret techniques developed by HEMA sorcerers.

Reliability is always more important than raw damage.
Even if the math as worked out by didn't already fall in the sword's favour, a truly random 50% will involve streaks of misses.

The dagger could easily miss every swing during a fight.

Suppose you run out of HP and the dragon kills you after you get 8 slashes

>Sword = 480 dmg at best, you lose no matter what
>Dagger = have to hit 5/8 times, you'd need to be a little lucky but it's totally possible

It depends but if the game is easy then sword is safer

a dragon wife would be pretty neat

My luck is fucking garbage, big sword it is I aint chancing a 50% hit rate

>do you want a more aesthetic 57 damage average or 50 (with a high chance of concurrent misses)
Uhhhhhhh

Sword is longer, so has better penetration (for the big fat dragons) and puts the user further out of claw range.
What are the attack speeds?

>swing the dagger 50 times
>make 2500 damage

>swing the sword 50 times
>make 2850 damage
Unless there's a speed value the greatsword is just way better

Disregarding damage, the greatsword just looks better overall.
Hell, most two handed swords are simply gorgeous.

2h sword is the one true master race

It certainly has range
And though it's slower than the dagger for sure, at least you can keep some distance. And besides, it's not actually as slow as you might think

Left, every day.

Sord any day
see: pokemon hit rates

Hug and cuddle my new dragon mommywife what else?

What are the attack speeds? If I can stab 10 times with the dagger for every 1 swing of the sword then it's an obvious choice.

Right is mathematically the better choice:

20 hits w/ 100 damage, 50% hit rate = 1000 hp damage.

20 hits w/ 60 damage, 95% hit rate = 1140 hp damage.

I don't want to be a dagger dork, I take the greatsword

I use my fists and grapple it.

>implying i'm not using a monk

Is the dragon cute? How much attack damage and speed does she have? Does she have any special abilities or hobbies? Can I outmaneuver her or take her out on a date?

Attached: 1546625043395.png (500x1028, 54K)

left has average of 50 damage, right has average of 57. right is objectively better, especially if range is considered

I'll take the dagger and sacescum so I don't miss a single hit. A game that has that stupid RNG isn't going to play fair so neither will I.

>fighting a dragon with a dagger
Lmao, good luck.
