It's a singleplayer game actually but the gimmick is you have a party of 4 but only get to create 1 party member yourself the other 2 must be hired from other players. And the one you made yourself will be likewise shared online.

If you play offline you'll get absolutely dog shit tier randomly generated party members.

i really dislike obduction's visual style. the appeal of myst and riven is that they look real, whereas obduction looks cartoony. the fact that they still use real actors shows that the current cyan just doesn't get it.

Buying from GoG means that the devs assume you're a filthy pirate so might as well pirate.

2 is fine, more of the same, but a bit goofy with comical Russian bandits and everything, the ending is a bit on the nose too, but still worth playing if you liked 1.

Finished 2 years ago, had fun, but it was not as charming as 1.

never buy the newest and most hyped game off GOG because they get 2nd hand service, buy the older ones that may run like shit because surprisingly GOG adds some patches so they dont crash when you click run
