I fucking love berserk forms. Something magical about watching a character completely lose it and fear themselves in the upcoming arc before managing to overcome their berserk state.

I think Hazard is the best I've seen in any show period. It had some pretty extreme stakes considering he straight up killed a dude when he first used it, and he was so afraid of himself he put a suicide bomb on to stop if he used it again in that fight on the roof. Also helps that as far as I recall he never really "beat" it internally, he just built a way to funnel it with RabbitRabbit TankTank.

I think the same way, Hazard was the absolute highlight of Build when it comes to putting an obstacle that isn't a bad guy with a billion HP. I'm really mad they didn't use it for the last fight against Evolt, showing Sento's growth by making him able to use Hazard as its full potential without losing control would have been kino and fuck CGI RabbitDragon when the suit from the movie was already done and ready.

I tell you what. I frequent /krg/ and I decided to review al the tributes in the series:

Kuuga - 1/10 (Heisei Generations Forever literally only featured the tomb and the movie boss as ultimate Kuuga)
Agito - 10/10 (Arguably the best rider tribute episode to date)
Ryuki - 9.5/10 (Ryuki not only gets two episodes, but even an official continuation)
Faiz - 7/10 (Fourze & Faiz episode should have just been a Faiz arc. Would have been even better if Sougo had used the power of Faiz. But both the appearance of the Faiz cast, and the 0.5.episodes, made up for it)
Blade - 8/10 (ending was underwhelming, but technically gave Blade the ending some had wished for. Not to mention it actually paid homage to the final battle of Blade. Also had Blade actors Henshin)
Hibki - 8/10 as said. If you consider the first half only to be canon, though, the rating will drop to a 6 or a 5, or even 4, since it more follows closely the second half of Hibiki
Den-O - 3/5 (Cameo in Heisei generations forever was brief, but was worth it just to see Nogami again. Final score reserved for supposed actual Den-O arc)
Den-O - 1/10 TERRIBLE arc. Literally filler just for Woz to get an upgrade
Decade - 10/10 (Decade is a recurring character and gives no fucks. Decade has a brand new driver, and has been integral to the development of Zi-O)

fair enough but I enjoyed the characters and the moral conflict through the whole show with the last 10 or so episodes being my favorite part even if it feels rushed towards the end

personally I think the show went from mediocre to solid around the time of the OOO arc and really picked up when White Woz showed up. It's not perfect (the Kiva arc was a fucking mess) but I think it's solid these days.

Ghost - 9.5/10 (Ghost actually gets to do something, gets to henshin along with Spectre, and was the first arc to properly feature Decade's influence)
Ex-Aid - 6/10 (Ex-Aid didn't really do much., Same for Brave)
Build - 5.5/10 (Same as above, and made worse by meddling with the finale of Build)

I can't really blame people for not watching older heisei between the fact that for the longest time your only real option was fucking TV Nihon of all things and even if you didn't have to worry about that or could bring yourself to deal with it Inoue was behind a good few of them and if those were your first impressions you'd naturally want to stay as far away as possible.

How come Kamen Rider never took off in America? What if it had received the Saban treatment and got remade/dubbed like super sentai (Power Rangers)?

All of the fighting scenes are kept intact, but you make white people into the Kamen Riders outside of the suit.

MCS and Over-Time/GomenRider have had Kuuga, Agito done for a long time. BunnyRider for Kabuto, and everyone else has gotten in on the subbing game for Kamen Rider since post-Decade with Double, OOOs, Fourze, Wizard, Gaim, Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Build, and Zi-oh.

Even when the situation doesn't account for it like when everyone is stuck in an enemy base and completely surrounded with no way to escape. The game has a transformation belt as a hidden item, it's useless on everyone else but she gets a massive stat boost if she equips it.

Well, he kind of is. That is the character the writers wanted, he's not suppose to be someone the viewer relates to though. He's suppose to be the guy that everyone wants to be and to move them down the path to bettering themselves. He does get his moments of idiocy, like when he absolutely wanted to win the lotto drawing at the restaurant, in disbelief that someone was able to do something better then he and same with Hiyori and the Tofu, as she liked hot things more. But the show also caters to the "I'm right, because I'm me." thing.

If the show didn't try to almost make a parody of the man the world revolves around, then it wouldn't have worked and Tendou would have been a horrible character, especially without Kagami to act as grounding.

I watched Kamen Rider Dragon Knight and honestly I didn't like it. I've been going through Kamen Rider and I love it. Kamen Rider seasons are all standalone. You can watch whatever you want. Only times they crossover is with anniversary seasons like Decade and Zi-O, the couple of crossover movies there is and some seasons have crossover special episodes that are for nothing but having a bit of fun.

There's gonna be some people that'll get on your case because you think Faiz is better then either Gaim, Ex-Aid or W. Build and OOO are good top choices though.

Reminder that the Agito and Kabuto standalone games are the best Kamen Rider vidya ever devised.

sort of. All of kamen rider is one timeline but it's loose. Some series play around with this idea (decade, build, Zi-O) but most outright ignore it. From 2000 to 2010 the series were effectively standalone, but then they began a conscious effort to have the series feel more connected. Each rider since 2010 has 2 movies, a winter movie crossing over with the previous rider, and a summer movie focused on them that usually previews the next rider as well. Even with this, the shows themselves are almost entirely self contained and you can usually skip the crossover movies, though you'll want to come back eventually since they act as epilogues for older series.

I started with Ex-aid, went to W, then Fourze, and then Build. Build is by far the best I feel.

They didn't do anything with giant robot arc, I really would love to see that. But it seems their production values of robot part were quite limited.

I wouldn't say Zi-O is the absolute worst season but it's definitely in my bottom ten from what I've watched.

Depends on the Rider. W and Build could work since they do work in a relatively small city and help people there, but anyone else I would find arguable. OOO can't really do it, Fourze would be more suited towards something like Bully, and everyone else was all over the place. Showa Riders would probably work if you shoved the quarry off the edge of the map somewhere.

They were stand alone until Decade. Due to Decade's fuckery, everything takes place in one world now. Except for Build. And I can't explain Ghost's appearance in Drive.
