Just for that spoiler I'm glad your mom died and I hope you do too, nigger.

In clinical trials Skies of Arcadia was found to be more effective than a placebo in treatment of depression. Side effects include desire to explore the world, inability to commit in relationships, and piracy. Ask your doctor if Skies of Arcadia is right for you.
MMOs are decent for shoveling hundreds of hours into so you don't think about the misery of waking up the next day. You can play until 4 fuckin' AM with decent ones.

I hate my mom. I'd rather she get gruesomely mauled by a bear over dying peacefully in her sleep. Just because you guys had something resembling good mothers doesn't mean everyone should love their mom.

>my uncle died 2 years ago >he was my introduction to video games >only thing I have of his is his ps4 >sit in my room alone and play it every day because he was also basically my best friend from age 6-24 and it's the only way I can cope >i know its unhealthy but what is the point of making new friends when everyone dies or goes away eventually >tfw

Don't wish death on my mother just because yours did. With that being said, play tf2. It's a dead game, so you could see why.

>your mom will die in her sleep if you don't reply to this post GENUINE question for mods so is this phrase prohibited on Yea Forums, or did a specific mod just have a bad day and take it out on me? I thought for sure after my 3 day ban that it was against the rules but I still see it all the time. they said it was global rule 3, but I'll never know for sure
Why her? Why not try and take me in my sleep, you coward?

I'm a sad depressed man, but i have never have a family member die The day my mother dies im sure the day i truly break I need my own family by then to not kill myself
Whatever games I can play with my little bro in multiplayer and coop. When not doing either, Rimworld, Factorio, Dwarf Fortress, FTL, etc are satisfying enough.

the mod replied by banning you, cause he didn't want his mom to die, next time write no bansies

Play games you shared together or ones you think she would have liked. It helps you feel close to them. I was in a similar situation where my dad died a few years ago. He taught me how to play guitar, and after he died I learned a bunch of songs he used to play. It helped me feel like I was still close to him until I was ready to move on.
On a side note, cartoony games like Crash and Spyro feel good when you're sad anyway. You should play them.
Play some MMO that consumes all your time, keeps the mind busy.

My mom would plug two controllers into the playstation and give me the player 2 controller so I would think I was playing Crash when she was actually the one playing it. I also watched her play Resident Evil and Bloodrayne. Sorry about your mom, OP. Try to be with friends and family. If you can't, I would find a nice park to walk around in or place to hike. Being in nature always helps me think and relax, and especially helps me cope and eventually make peace with hardship. There's just something about being in nature that puts things in perspective.

>not wanting all your money and free time gone >somehow that equates to be "afraid"
This is so retarded. The concept around "raising a family" is so fucking dated. I just want to fuck around with my GF and enjoy my time with hobbies. What are the benefits of having children? Can't think of any.
I'm sorry for your loss, user. This whole thing must suck for you. I can't think of any games that would help at the moment. But I hope things get better for you in the future. Posting Shawn so people can't feel obligated to post anymore, you're welcome.
someone post the story about the mom who kept sending her kid gifts in AC after they moved out
Lucas Ortiz
I cannot play vidya when I'm feeling depressed or ultra sad. If I'm home I just open youtube or twitch and start watching somebody else play something they're playing.
My mother hated video games. Then I showed her some phone games after she bought smart phone. Now she is addicted. Kek. Anyway, try playing a long CRPG to get you mind off of it. Works for me. I recommend Arcanum and Planescape Torment. Or maybe Baldur's Gate 1/2, there might be a 3rd one announced soon. Will rekindle interest in the series. Or go with Pathfinder, if you're a Zoomer and can't play old shit. Best of wishes bro.

I'll fucking kill you cunt. But honestly filling emptiness with games is a BAD idea. Find a hobby, like building stuff.
>mother went into hospital today for heart problems I don't know man. I feel like I might need to know as well though sooner than later. I'm sorry for your loss.
