im considering buying a PS only for mh world

if you get 2000 hours of entertainment for 300 bucks... that's a good deal. football tickets can cost that much and that's for literally 3 hours. in this way, you could say you pay 100 dollars an hour for a football game, and roughly 15 cents an hour for a switch. in my opinion, the entertainment quality for mhgu approaches that of a live sporting event and even exceeds it making this an extremely good deal, even if you just play one game. but let's say you only play 100 hours - botw and odyssey together. even then that's 3 dollars an hour for really good entertainment experience (with no ads, breaks, parking, driving or traffic). relative to the costs of what is considered normie entertainment this is still a really good deal.

Well it's more of a zone out simulator than a game, you can just do nothing at all for hours and be comfy.

I'll only ever pirate when it becomes 100% safe. Otherwise I can't even slightly risk losing access to online. This is the only console I care about playing online with.
