Fresh news. The "Anaconda" is said to have no exclusive games for first few years. All 1st and 3rd party titles must work on base Xbox One as well.

This is so fucking retarded
Oh boy, I can't wait to play.........
..........
....
.
I doesn't make any sense, to be honest. Mostly because Lockhart exists.
Microsoft should just go third party at this point, it's just sad
Then why would anyone buy the new console?
This isn't new. MS already said that the Scarlett consoles ever still part of the Xbone family
Fake and gay
All consoles do this. PS4 was nothing but PS3 ports for its first 4 years
Same reason the (didn't) buy an xXboneXx. More power to play the same games. It's not going to be a new console, it's just a more powerful Xbone that you're supposed to upgrade every other revision because that way you can keep your same library of games.
Only problem is they tried this shit the generation after they were in first and could've pulled something like this.
>Microshit singlehandedly stopping third party developers from making next-gen games
wow so cool thanks
Wait what? The next gen system is called the Xbox Anaconda or the Xbox Scarlett?
Killzone literally day one PS4 exclusive holy shit moron
Are you guys all stupid, Microsoft's has been saying they were ending their gens since like 2016. Where have you all been?
Let's see
>better promotion
>better looking and playing games
>in Lockhart's case better priced
>in Anaconda's case best looking games
I don't know you tell me, Xbone has been stuck in sales limbo since the beginning of last yea, people are excited for the Lockhart and Anaconda, no one gives a fuck about the dead ass Xbone anymore.
*year
And what a load of shit it was. Doesn't change the fact that it mostly got games designed for the PS3 up until Bloodborne came out
I've been anticipating this for awhile, actually. I suspect the PS5 will be similar. Its essentially going to be a single release with two fidelity options for lower and higher end hardware.
The consoles used x86 architecture now and are basically PCs with a curated OS on them, but essentially it's just going to be creating a game on the next gen with graphics options that can be lowered to run on prior gen, just like a PC release.
Similarly, I expect a lot of current gen games to be forward compatible and possibly get graphic/framerate updates on newer hardware.
Meanwhile Sony will win anyway and devs will focus on the PS5 version that matters while wasting resources on making Xbone inferior versions
>Meanwhile Sony will win anyway and devs will focus on the PS5 version that matters while wasting resources on making Xbone inferior versions
>he actually believes this
Xbox is easier to make games on. PS5 versions will always be inferior.
>botw crossgen
...
>persona 5 crossgen
...
>xbox crossgen
REEEEEEEEE
this
Either console wont have games for years anyway.
