I barely bothered with magic at all, outside of trial mode. Just items and attack gambits and played on 4x speed. Skipped all the story.

Music was shite too.

I’m an avid FF fan and it was one that I tried when first released, didn’t enjoy but revisited in the hope I would - a la my experience with FFX.

It was very poor though, I’m a completionist so I wanted to get it done but really didn’t enjoy it.

I lasted no more than an hour or so. The combat was so embarrassingly bad I just couldn’t deal with it.

I’m scared for what they’re going to do to 7R, from what I’ve seen the combat is much the same.

Some parts of the game were just so incredibly tedious. I would never in a million years play it again. I’m going to trade it in tomorrow towards something else.

I loved the story in 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 - 10 not so much. I was watching the story initially but was completely disengaged by it but wanting to do the super bosses and trial mode so just powered through.

Almost everyone in Ivalice seems to be impotent so I doubt it, they were probably the kind of couple that just sat around staring at each other for hours

Glad to have completed it, I can tick it off my mental check list of games I wanted to get done, but I will never return to this piece of shit excuse for a FF game.

I'll never understand the people who praise FF12. It's like they were trying to make the game and characters as boring as possible.

It took me two button presses before I realized the Bhujerba stewards gave more charge than random people for that minigame. Was it really that bad?

The worst part about it is that clearly the positive feedback it did garner helped lead the way into the absolute shit show of the FF13 series.

I refuse to purchase another new FF game (7R aside) unless there’s a return to turn based and an overworld map.
