Which pro controller design was better?
Pro Controllers
>Wii U uses glossy
It's dead to me
All joking aside, I really like the switch one more due to the grip and button layout
The Wii.
i have both and i prefer the switch one. I don't like inline control stick layouts as well as offset. also it has a nice weighty feel and the buttons feel really nice. wii u one is good too though.
Does the switch controller also have a 60 hour battery life?
with or without the nubs?
It's more like 45.
more like 30-40
no but it's like 40-50 hrs compared to the Wii U's 70-80. So not bad.
Nubs?
the original wii classic controller didn't have handles it looked like a snes controller
Does anyone else find that the L and R buttons on the Switch Pro aren't as responsive as they should be? To explain, they fell a little mushy, like I have to press harder to guarantee an input. I'm mostly used to it at this point, but something I felt and wasn't sure if it was just me.
I prefer the Switch one, but they're both amazing. The Wii U one is especially lean and great for emulation.
Don't use the Wii pro controllers. I think he () meant the Wii U one. Those suck compared to the Wii U Pro.
Okay, this thread is about the pro controller though. Who the fuck calls handles "nubs" anyway?
No I meant the Wii Pro controller. And the buttons and d-pad are much better on the Wii Pro compared to the Wii U Pro.
Never had that problem.
should have said that then
me
Switch is overall better but i miss the wiiu pro dpad and it's stronger rumble
Oh. I hate the Wii Pro controller compared to the Wii U and Switch Pro though. Especially considering they have to be plugged into a Wii Remote, and is dependant on the remotes battery life (~20-25h)
I just used an adapter and used it for my PC. No battery to worry about.
The one with handles is called the Wii Classic Controller Pro. The one without handles is just the Wii Classic Controller. Also it is okay but having to tether it to a Wii Remote sucks.
the traditional rumble is meatier but I'm used to the HD Rumble at this point. I also enjoy how they can do different music notes with the Switch rumble. Even connecting the Pro makes it give a little two-note "boop boop" - rest it on a hard surface when you connect and you'll hear it.
Did the Wii U one have analog shoulder buttons?
No. The only controller that's had analog triggers is the Wii Classic controller. Even the Wii Classic Pro dropped analog triggers
Switch although the WiiU Pro had godtier battery life.
I'm pretty sure all switch controllers have 40 hr battery
I don't know, I just bought a 15 dollars USB dongle to use my Wii U pro on my Switch, I'm not dropping 80 moosebucks on a new pro controller. Why the fuck didn't Nintendo just let all ten of us with a Wii U Pro Controller use it on Switch by default anyway? Can't be that complicated and I doubt it'd be a big moneysink since last I checked the handful of Wii U Pros still on the market still go for full price.
The Wii U Pro has 80 hours of battery life, it's actually ridiculous.
Lack of analog triggers really makes driving games unplayable on Switch. I'd get TT Isle of Man if not for that. And Trials.
True. I just dont play a lot of deep driving games.
just use the right stick for throttle that is what we had to do back on gran turismo 1 and 2
