That seems pretty likely, yeah. I'm leaning towards Alfred since Gebel would probably play similarly to Miriam.

Gebel is probably the Albus of Bloodstained, while he shares skills with Miriam he probably has his own unique overpowered versions of them and some sort of a bullshit teleport.

I'd be up for that if they changed the way the shards worked for him because he's so much further gone with the curse.
