The difference is this game actually creates a great atmosphere that it uses it's flaws to help immerse you further in in the way a game like Deadly Premonition would,just much more depressing,while a game like We Happy Few is just a shit game and nothing else.

They both suck huge ass and are boring as fuck. STALKER at least had potential, it just needed to fix the gun mechanics and add WAY more buildings to the map. The best parts of it are the exploring creepy abandoned buildings, so it sucks when there are like 10 total buildings and the rest of the game is running through a conpletely flat nothing land

Its really not even that bad. The only thing you really have to worry about all the time is hunger. But even when you are starving to death, your health depletes really slowly. As long as you weren't almost dead before you were starving, you're gonna make it. Also once you get to day 4 and you start getting daily rations, food really starts to not be that big of an issue, so much so that I have to question whether this "reviewer" even made it to that part of the game. Everything else isn't really that big of an issue at all.

Its a challenging game for sure, but its really not that hard. It might feel challenging because you're constantly starving and low on resources, but very rarely did I ever die from the survival mechanics. Most of my deaths were the result of getting ganged up on inside a tiny house.

Games should be rated with the context of their genres. I also hate survival games, but saying it's tedious is like saying turn based games offer no challenge to your reflex skills. It's true, but those interested in the genre don't give a fuck.
