Anyone got any tips on how I can fulfill my dream of drawing digitally in bed?
I used to draw a lot on swapdoodle on 3ds. It gave you a small screen you could hold in your hand and draw on with a small pen. This was the most fun I've ever had drawing, but swapdoodle was extremely limited and did not allow you to upload your art outside of the 3ds by any means.
I own a drawpad and I've tried using it, but it feels so fucking alien to draw in one place and the lines appearing on a screen far away. This is the same problem I have when I try to use the drawpad while sitting in front of my PC.
I can draw halfdecently using my mouse while sitting in front of my PC, but this is not only much more uncomfortable than drawing in my bed, it also comes with massive issues of not having any means of adding pressure to my lines.

Get a 2in1 laptop/tablet. There are a lot of older ones with Wacom digitizers for like $150 max on ebay. Their resolutions are pretty low compared to modern laptops, but they work well enough for drawing.
Pic related, it's the Fujitsu t904, which is what I use. It's about $200, but it's one of the only ones with a Wacom display that isn't a brick.
Fujitsu and Dell are the only companies that still use Wacom. Pretty much everyone else uses N-Trig, which is horrible for drawing.
Basically, if all you want to do is doodle, an older one will do you just fine. If you want to draw in higher resolutions, splurge on a newer one.
