You DO game on a CRT occasionally, right Yea Forums?

my hair still has colour so no
I have more than 10 IQ, so no.
I have only CRT, so not occasionally.
My dick still works, so no
i'm not a retard, so no
Must be nice being born after the year 2000.
ABSOLUTELY SEETHING
No.
Shit is dumb despite having some speck of reason
I have a CRT in the attic that I've picked up for free earlier this year, rebranded Trinitron with 1600x1200 @ 85Hz, but something about it must be borked because the contrast is really low and I haven't gotten around reading up on it yet.
Also I wanna assemble a retro PC to use the CRT with anyway, and before that's done the CRT is useless.
>fat

>that arrow key layout
of course, but i don't look like that.
also generally less than before i had my 144hz monitor. now that's good enough but a CRT is still better (I have a crt that i play quakeworld on at 240hz)
>hook up good CRT
>games without AA look smoother on CRT than games with high AA on flat panels, without losing any sharpness or detail
How do CRTs do it? Was AA even a thing before flat panels and their pixelation?
Don't CRT's have a bit more lag and screen-tear than other kinds of monitors?
i do play on a CRT when i go visit grandma. the old win XP machine even runs games that 10 refuses to run even in compatibility mode, like the russian mod/remake for Dune 2 i have a nostalgic connection to.
I fell for the HD meme that the videogame industry was pushing for, hard. I also fell for the Windows 7 meme and left XP. Not falling for that again.
CRT
>+300hz refresh rate
FLAT GARBAGE
>+160hz refresh rate
Why would a zero latency monitor have lag?
You can get a CRT maybe up to 120 with overclocking, but you're still stuck with shitty aspect ratios. I'll pass.
It is, thanks
>up to 120
>with overclocking
Only le wrong generation Zoomers like CRTs
just played sonic adventure on my dreamcast on my big ass 22' crt
>22'

Got a 2048x1536 samsung, but nah I don't use it.
Yes, green text of what I just said. Anything else, kid, or is this the extent that your brain can communicate?
ABSOLUTELY SEETHING
Have like 6 CRT TVs in my storage.
>lelmemes
Yeah, I thought so.
i didn't know they were zero latency
but doesn't it take longer to fire all the pixels one by one compared to flipping all pixels on/off at once? i mean, it makes sense that newer monitors would be faster, better, harder and stronger, doesn't it?
Occasionally? Do you rent one from Comp USA?
Do modern 4:3 monitors exist?
CRTs don't display pixels.
I only game on a CRT, user.
