Kirby, Mario Tennis, and Mario Party were all lacking a ton of content at launch and were laughable at 60 dollars. Mario Maker 2 is looking like the first really good Switch game since Smash.

Star Allies is weak as fuck, especially when it released right after Robobot, one of the best in the series, and no, the boss recolors and character DLC can't save the shit tier campaign. Could've been great if it had more time in the oven but it's obvious as fuck it was rushed out to fluff up the Switch library. Mario Tennis actually has a great foundation but fucking none of the content to support it, and again, no, some extra characters can't fix the shit tier campaign or the weak online options, especially when that's all there is left to do after the campaign. It's pretty obvious this one got rushed out too, especially when they released a part of the opening that never got finished months after the game was released.

Smash was released way after Nintendo wussed out on 3D effect. If you did a KO that sent the player against the screen, the 3D would actually shut off for that brief moment.
