My OG 3DS is literally falling apart and it's sad as I enjoyed it so very much. But I can't afford spending money on a replacement console that had its best days behind it already, which is a shame as I'd love to get the Samus Returns one.
Talking about Samus Returns, I just replayed that game. Happy to have Metroid back.

I'd say it's worth it, it's what like $120? If you're anything like me there's probably still a ton of games you still want to play on it, and there's a couple solid games that are exclusive to the new models.

Its a kids' game. Super easy unless you're going to hack up a maxed team and play competitively.
They've got more endgame features than they used to, but the story is still very easy and can be beaten with 1 pokemans.

If I was to guess, MPT comes first as that's been rumored for a long time now and apparently ready.

M5 is also pretty well known to be in development and will be released next year

Really enjoying AC AH Legacy atm. The dodging mechanic is neat and it's a real shame they didn't implement it for AC7.

It’s the same game and music, but the graphics are pretty potato relative to the original, there’s no Japanese language option, and UI’s a bit wonkier.

All-and-all it’s solid, but has a few disadvantages over the original release. If you just don’t have the time to sit in front of a specific TV for 80 hours, it’ll probably be the only way you’ll ever be able to play it to completion.

Yeah, sorry for not being clear about that. I'd say those are the best models since they can play og DS games however, you'd ve unable to play games/content that utilizes the GBA port (Relatively few games tbf). If you're looking for og DS models I think I'd recommend a DSLite or DSi

Grab a 128gb microSD card and format it. For hacking look up 3ds.guide.
Install and delete after.

The installer will ask you if you want to download the .cia file. Type yes and then, you'll just have the game without the .cia Rom. I advice that you keep the .cia files somewhere on your PC though.

The resolution on 3DS is genuinely terrible. Handhelds don't need to have extremely high resolutions with how small their screens are, but 400x240 is still way too low.

I'll probably be playing this, as I don't have to tools to add Xenoblade to my Wii's HDD at the moment. Then again, I can always wait.
