>Google is about to restrict the use of adblocking addons to "enterprise users"
>Even though they'll obviously resist at first, ALL chromium-based browsers will have no choice but to follow suit eventually
Why aren't you using firefox yet?
Google is about to restrict the use of adblocking addons to "enterprise users"
Use Brave. It is Chromium-based, but created by Mozilla's co-founder and they'll never bow to Google's bullshit.
>use this by the firefox guy who broke his software trying to force embedded spyware that can't be shut off in an update
Weren't you around for those threads on /g/ when firefox broke?
What's Enterprise users?
What advantages and disadvantages do chromium based browsers have over firefox?
Business users. So you'll have to pay some chink 5 bucks to get an enterprise key, same as you do when you need a fresh Windows 10 LTSB key because of this reason or another.
People who pay a tenner a month to google.
Video games
How exactly does google stop users from denying which hosts they connect to?
*disables all of your addons remotely with no warning*
What are you talking about? When did this happen?
Why yes, user, I already use Sushi browser, how could you tell?
>Chromium is Google's open-source web browser project.
FIREFOX RESTRICTS THE USEAGE OF ADD-ONS ALL TOGHETER, MOZILLA IS OWNED BY GOOGLE
CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL
ads served directly by browser :^)
This month? If you were using firefox, all the anti-spy/malware addons broke and you had to edit the config to get them working again
Nice source
It didn't.
What user is talking about is strictly opt in.
Unlike Chrome, where you don't have a choice.
Not video games.
is the way to go.
May 5th all of Firefox's add-ons broke. People committed suicide en-masse as they received popups and ads for penis enlargement pills and ads for the popular game "Cunt Wars."
>google-free chrome.
no such thing, scam browser
>Google is about to restrict the use of adblocking addons to "enterprise users"
When and most importantly fucking how?
>opt in
You mean opt out after rooting through the settings and config to shut it down, and even then it's not completely shut down.
>restrict
How exactly does this work? If I'm using tampermonkey + addblock, will I get fucked too?
Because I'm using Pale Moon like a normal person.
You know, no modern Mozilla crap, all addons I use have versions that work on it, it's perfect.
Ungoogled chromium and iridium say hello.
No, strictly opt in.
You're not going to run any of this shit by me user, I literally installed brave like a month ago.
I use Brave...ad blocking is hard coded into the browser, its faster then any ad blocker plug in
Then it would be even easier to block because those ads are coming from the same source.
>This month?
Eich hasn't been at Mozilla for years. He was pushed out by their weird side branch over a donation he made towards Proposition 8 in America years ago.
Also I'll just add, on the first startup thing, there's even a dedicated page for it, "Hey, do you want to turn this on? You probably don't, but it's an option."
But i been using firefox since 2003, user
I use Firefox usually but lately I've been having issues in which some pages don't work properly so I switch to Canary. I also have Brave but I don't use it as often as I guess I should because I'm too use to uBlock and uMatrix.
>fill company with diversity hires
>faggots forget to renew a certificate and end up globally disabling addons
>biggest competitor after Gulag is a browser with a fucking cryptominer
>Firefox forks have no real goal of setting themselves apart from SJ\/\/:lla, instead acting as mere rebrands
>MOZILLA IS OWNED BY GOOGLE
Mozilla kowtows to Google at times because IIRC Google is a major, major sponsor. They do a solid job of providing a meaningful alternative to Google's Internet Explorer-tier bullshit, but they are compromised. When they pushed Eich out of the company over old political donations, which was completely against company policy which bans punishment for political actions outside of Mozilla, they revealed that Mozilla lacks any sort of... spine. They can't really afford to be principled. If push comes to shove, they bend to whomever is shouting loudest at them.
>That feel when Pale Moon
>Cunt Wars
Do you actually war cunts or is it just another tower defense game?
I stopped using firefox when the Yea Forums catalog stopped updating on refresh. Now I'm using chrome and having the exact same problem. Help?
>>Firefox forks have no real goal of setting themselves apart from SJ\/\/:lla, instead acting as mere rebrands
Ever heard of Pale Moon?
At least there's always IE.
