Am I the only one a little hesitate to ride kojimas dick with this? It seems to be Silent Hill without the claustrophobia and fear/dread painted into every aspect of the game. Why is it a giant open world of nothing that is just meant to move you from cutscene to cutscene? In Silent Hill, the atmosphere, sound design, horror design, level design, was all put into account. With Death Stranding, you may as well be playing a MMO fetch quest the whole game going from minor scare to minor scare and cutscene to cutscene until it ends. In Silent hills case, it works, because how the game is made. Being a giant open world where 95% of it is irrelevant isn't going to work for what his trying to accomplish. Making Metal Gear open world didn't work either.
