The "lmao AR kid" shit never made sense, Doing well with precision weapons in Halo has always been piss easy, it's unrionically more difficult to get kills with the SMG in 2 or the AR in 3 then it is to use the BR for even a below average player.
The only precision weapon in the series that actually took any amount of skill to do well with was the CE magnum, where landing consistent headshots with it was actually fairly challenging and as such it's utility was justified.
