Being in a team for a few days boosts the stats it gives, and if an agent is part of a team for 7+ days, they become captain and get a secret lv4 version of the boost.

I wonder what it feels like to be the Manager's favorite agent during a timeline. You get to unreasonably survive occasions that see the entire facility slaughtered. He personally assigns you to work on abnormalities all across the facility to the point the abnormalities give you gifts. During breaches, he personally directs you in 1 on 1 combat with the most dangerous beings to grace the facility. Or stand alone in the shelter.

I wonder to what degree the manager actually communicates with the average agent. Does he ever get to speak directly with them or is it streamlined through the management screen we use and the agents just receive pings and basic system orders like do X work on X abnormality through some device.

So, uh, what's the deal with the puppy abnormality? It feels a little lack luster compared to everything else, and why was its containment unit round? It's honestly not even that hard to deal with.

Are guns just objectively better than melee? Seems like the only way to deal with things like the chainsaw robots is to kite them, and melee just misses the bugs over and over.

Melee is generally tougher than ranged, and comes with better AI for tanking.
Fast and less melee will miss a lot on those kinds of enemies.
You will get to speed up training, but do know - their speed is in your hands, since they level up the more they work.

Guns are strong but you will find that there aren't a fuckton of guns in the game but there are plenty of melee. Guns also have the perk of being able to see healthbars more cleanly as your troops are spread out, but unfortunately you will rarely get to have everyone play ranged. Diving will happen.

The important part to remember is not whether it's ranged or melee, per se, but rather what item tier it is. It makes a huge difference to be using HE gear over ZAYIN gear even if the ZAYIN gear gives apparently better stats. You will find that because those chainsaw robots are considered HE-tier enemies, you are actually getting hit for 20% extra damage just by having ZAYIN suits on.

Fuck Gebura! I beat Apocalypse Bird beforehand and cleaned up the whole facility before facing her. After plentiful use of hit and run tactics, I manage to get her to her last phase. Lets just say that the Apocalypse bird fight ran my Level 1 Conscript reserve dried up and she targeted someone in the middle of my stack, wiping everyone out in a single flurry.

Yeah, hence why I was bugged about her brain damage, but it actually seems to work in her favor. She can't remember anything that makes her upset and ironically enough doesn't hate anything other than herself when she gets on meltdown, which is handily erased so the next day she's having a grand old time in her wing of the facility. Compare this to the terminally depressed Knight of Despair or the monstrous nightmare King of Greed and she's got it good, damn good. Half of everything else is constantly suffering, and all the employees are in constant suffering except for when that ball thing upgrades their weapon. Hell even Angela's suffering.

Sorry but for me the gameplay is a big chunk of a game's "soul" and is what allows the other parts to shine even more. It's as if a hack 'n' slay resolved the conflict that excuses the gameplay in the first part and the sequel was the hero opening and managing a bakery. Logically sound but not really something I would die to see.
Not to mention the visuals getting a hard rework, from the overly simple but endearing designs and clunky looking UI to what you see there. Surely to set them apart further but can't say I dig it either.
It's just a bit sad. I really liked playing the game yet couldn't stop thinking about the million ways it could have been improved, but now they moved on from it. I will play it in the future, sure, but I won't be bitting my nails like I do with other sequels.

More dangerous ones can escape and you have to set trained employees to beat the shit out of them.

Yeah, it's an SCP-like management where you build your team of d-boys, upgrade, gear them up and sometimes sacrifice for the greater good.
The beginning is a bit slow but it gets hard later.

sinner is actually immune to all interactions. downside is they can't do anything other than confess aswell. guess they got around that by making them panic which somehow circumvents the apathy of the sinner and makes them attack (fortitude)

I just eventually unequipped that weapon from my employee, really don't have the patience to keep track of him and witness a hallway of employees go from 100% to below 30% HP/SP
Green has weird spawns, I've seen the bot spawn in the center of rooms (mainly central), sometimes in hallways, and other times in an elevator.

Might have wandered in, I wasn't really paying attention. That butterfly casket guy had breached at the same time and I was making sure no one died over there.

Central has unusual rules for a lot of spawns, including Green spawns as you say but also for example Purple Noon which treats each floor as a separate room for its AOE attack.

I'm on day 12, I keep having dawn meltdowns and I kill the clowns/slugs out whatever but for some reason some of my abnormalities countered decreased? They didn't have the red border over their chambers or anything. Forsaken murderer just exited his cell for no reason shortly after the dawn ordeal started. Also my twin huntsman counter went down to 0 as well. Very confused

Slugs also need to be killed in a set amount of time or they explode causing white damage and setting all counters to 0 (the timeframe on this is very forgiving though)

You have to work on abnormalities to harvest energy.
Your employees will die and monsters will escape, because you have no idea what to do at first, but you slowly get the hang out of it.

Nothing There just randomly kills my level 5 aleph employee for no reason (pure RNG bullshit lands 1 box short of neutral result when it usually was near or on good result), but worst of all WhiteNight is a completely temperamental cunt who might decide out of the blue to just kill my employee via pale damage, forcing a retry because I only have one suit that can keep an employee alive in there and that's the guy who he kills. Without it, there's not enough pale damage resistance to ever hope to survive. This all happens before qlipoth 5 by the way, I dread to think how I'm going to survive to 10.

Are memory rep days set? Because if so I might just clear it and memrep to get my employees back, but I'm on day 38 and I fear day 39 is a new memrep.

EX on everything, wearing Sword Sharpened by Tears armor which is the highest pale resistance I have at 0.8. 110+ HP and SP, not that it matters since pale is a % of max anyway. He doesn't die often, but it has happened and when I'm in it for the long haul to meltdown level 10, it's always a risk that could force a retry at any moment.

I never suppressed Burrowing heaven but Apples is quite easy to suppress.

You need to unlock disciplinary to get the mission again, but you don't need to level up the department. So if you've got her second mission active and restart from day one you'll be able to do it immediately once disciplinary is open instead of having to get it to rank 3 first.

So if I want to suppress Silent Orchestra, CENSORED and Melting Love in one day I should just kill all the clerks in their departments, start with Orchestra and then release both of the remaining ones so I can sic rabbits at them

Send in my 3 aleph gear agents without red damage and trigger slime waifu, she dies. Check train. Trigger a weak escaper with some weaklings, and suppress red. Divide everyone into damage types then trigger SO, then spam white shields on everyone. Keep checking train and finish the day.
It sucks having done all that twice but then some retard panics once, or releases Big Bird who releases miss hood who kills 6 of my dudes in the wrong place.

I got unlucky to meltdown RNG and Queen was picked. Sent my best agent and tried to wait as long as possible but she was hysterical the entire time so I yolo'd it. Queen breached, then scarecrow, then Butterfly while magic bullet man was shooting down every hallway. Couldn't see where they were so I was just sending all my agents to their deaths to work on as many things as I can since I only had to do like 10 more
