The Mario and Luigi RPG series will always be underappreciated so I'm glad people still remember and love the games. I prefer Bowser's Inside story but Superstar Saga is a solid pick.
2/3 I should really pick up Tales of Symphonia after loving Berseria so much but I might play Zestiria first just for story reasons.

In terms of combat variety it's a triumph of game design. Dante has his best arsenal in the series, Nero feels completely stocked with options, and V is unlike anything else. It's either good or great in every other respect, especially enemy design and music. I think it's the best in the series if you look at them as "stylish action" games, although I do think 1 has enough merits to be considered better in terms of overall game design, and 3 & 4(SE) both have their unique aspects worth returning for.

Yeah, I was initially against it but you were right that it's something that'll come at its own pace. I just wanted to make sure I had a strong foundation I believed in first. The cost however is that chance anons stop making 3x3 the focus and just start filling up huge grids for validation instead of by their personal design.

Makes sense. Your 3x3 would change every other thread, so making a larger chart would've likely been a way to simply rep all those games at once. As it stands now you've managed to recognize some different games that were never in the Top 9 but are worth being a second-string favorite, and that's why I did mine.
