They're working on another game but it's not hotline and they're being quiet about it. Reason for that was when they announced hotline 2 only a few months after 1 it kinda fucked with their work ethic so they're just keeping it in secret until it's ready
I've played cactus games a lonng time before HLM.
thes guys are really game geniuses and they released a zillion games.
But I suppose they must have blown it on cocaine, or maybe they got burned up by the success.
I know there was also a SJW controversy, the indie hipsters who they were rubbing shoulders with in the indie scene forced them to remove a rape scene from HLM2 because it was deem a trigger for feminists (I'm not even joking), maybe they got fed up with that environment.

it wasn't removed they just added an option to censor it, but I agree that it was stupid because it wasn't even a real rape scene, you don't even see anything for starters and secondly about .5 seconds later it's revealed to just be acting for a movie.
