Unlike 95% of vidya channels, and critic channels in general really, when he does a skit he has actual good comedic timing and doesn't drag.

Jontron doesn't make video game content anymore so I like the fact that he's knock-off Jontron.

Jon is still a decent entertainer but the stuff he makes videos about is boring.

Yeah, and that has largely to do with timing which is why I mentioned it.

The biggest failure most of these e-celeb people suffer from is lack of timing. All there jokes either drag on for way to long or hit the punch-line too late.

The best example of this shit is Nostalgia Critic. He understands how a set-up, anticipation and punchline works but almost all of NC's skits last up to 3 whole fucking minutes minimum making them excruciating and unwatchable.

It depends what video he is doing. If he is talking about some shovelware and making jokes about it, then he is entertaining enough and I like him. If he is talking about some "classic" game or system he acts like a fucking faggot and says shit like "That... is why this game is... just so special..." or "This is why the game is so... magical" and he says it unironically. The way he acts is like if video games are some extremely important thing that are sacred. I love video games, but man, they're not sacred or magical.

Also he goes back and plays "The greatest games of all time" but ignores all PC games, and never has played an RPG or Strategy game in his life.
