I assume it is open world and you have to escape those criminals/terrorists and those wierd demons who can teleport you into hades/limbo?(I getting strong The Darkness vibes here) That one guy (Mads Mikkelsen) seems to be able to wander between the worlds and probably developed those babies. Norman Reedus seems to be some sort of soldier/delivery guy who has the task to make the USA whole again through his deliveries? Seems like there has been some sort of war / accident like in Half Life or something.
