Grimm isn't too bad. His attack patterns are very limited, and have well defined telegraphs for the most part. You just need to have decent reaction time to beat him.

Lore wise, they were just elite Knights for a fallen kingdom, your standard Dark Souls type lore.

They were suppose to be bosses, but all but one (two? assuming the fake Knight behave as it was intended for the real thing) were cut for some reason.

A common hope a lot of people have now is that we can fight them now as Dreams or something on Silksong.

Herrah the beast, there is a vague dialogue implying it in all playthroughs, but if you deal with Herrah after your visit to the abyss, you get direct confirmation from Hornet herself (even more clear if you Dream Nail her)

I beat Grimm, but it took me bloody ages. It's fun when things finally start to click and you realize that the battle starts to feel like an elaborate dance of dodging around each other until you can finally sneak a few hits in.

Doubt I'll ever bother to try to beat the final ending at Godhome though. I know it's a boss rush, but I hate when an incredibly long and difficult challenge doesn't let you just jump back into the final boss fight that you've already worked your way up to. I need checkpoints.

No, he DS didn't invent Kinghts, this Knights are still a references still, how they work in the lore is very much the same: Knighst of a fallen Kingdom, most of them dead or missing, they are lore relevant, but not plot relevant, you literally have to go out of your way to figure out what the deal with them is. Look, I hate the DK comparatives when they are badly done, but pretend HK isn't full of Soul like elements, including it's own plot, is just absurd.

The only Knighst you get are Dung Defender, and Zemer, and you only fight the first. All the other Knighst are dead or Missing.
