Yes we knew about this a few months ago, it's coming to several platforms including Switch and PS4 as well.
Garbage. No quest log
Huh how's a port from 3ds gonna work? Are they making it native 1080p?
but why?
Because it's a good game?
Jesus christ that hideous artstyle
>PC
Guess I won't be preordering the Switch release after all, then.
I plan on keeping my Switch online until the releasing of games worth my money slows down, so seems I won't hack it until 2020 at least.
What's this
One of the best games released for the 3DS.
yay more 3ds shovelware coming to pc
i really wanted to like this game but goddamn did the shitty soundtrack and tedious exploration put me off from it
ill try picking it back up again now that im reminded of its existance
Why is it called Alliance Alive?
But I also didn't play this on PC
>no gameplay in the trailer or any of the screenshots
The PC version actually lets you appreciate the graphics, since you can see way more detail than at fucking 192p.
this
I'm too lazy to google, wtf is this? SRPG? DRPG? VN?
Except the graphics were made with the 3DS in mind.
And now they can be admired after a remaster without 3DS in mind.
NDS/3DS games unironically look a lot better upscaled. OG resolution is just too low.
This one is even crazier.
I prefer playing pixel art stuff on DSi XL but 3D stuff that uses polygons is better emulated.
Announced a few months ago
Good to know it actually improves the resolution then. Thought it might just open a 3ds-sized screen (haven't played any 3ds ports before).
>games worth my money
But there have never been any...
Except for the 4 that already exist, the 4 coming out in 2019, and the 2 that are (presumably) coming out in 2020.
If we ignore all of them, then yeah sure you're right
Except literally none because none of them are worth buying
If you bought even a single game on the switch then you're a complete retard.
>none of them are worth buying
If you insist lol
The soundtrack is wonderful though
Hope they fix the difficulty spike in the game. Game starts off way too easy and then all of a sudden after a certain event in the game turns ball busting hard.
>japshit
Who cares?
you cared enough to post lmao what a fag
Me
What? Are you thinking of Legend of Legacy's huge spike right after finishing the third ruin? This one's difficulty is pretty consistent and isn't that high, and doesn't require grinding any more than a few hits on the Snow King before the castle def section.

THANKS FOR THE BETA TEST NINTENCELS
Legend of legacy is better, but this is fine too.
Nobody outside of Japan actually liked Legend of Legacy though, it toed that strange line between being too light for SaGa fans to care about and too extreme for casual JRPG fans to enjoy.
I liked it but The Alliance Alive has a lot of things that make it superior. TLoL has better difficulty though, it makes 6th stratum encounters in EO look like Pokemon battles in comparison, especially in the desert.
Is this the one with the random skill gets?
Yep, same as legend of legacy
Yes, it uses the same sparking thing that SaGa does.
I feel like Legend of Legacy was too constrained with only 3 party members. Felt like you were basically forced into 1 tank, 1 healer, 1 dps for the entire game, and the moment your tank failed to be tanky enough you lost.
What the fuck. When i finally started it on Citra.
>Healer
*Contract user
It's not necessary to bring a healing specialist, even though having someone use an accessory slot on a healing item is good.
Your tank should also function as your DPS because skills like Counterbash are an absolute necessity, so it's more
DPS (Tank) /Contract/ DPS (Tank)
With Contract or DPS 2 holding a medkit. As long as you keep a Water Shield up the passive healing should keep you alive. Only bring a dedicated healer if you're about to fight the Green Dragon.
Nothing wrong with that, given that the game was originally designed for 3DS it works fine there and you'll have the benefit of having the bottom screen in the corner to show you telegrams and the world map while you walk around, the ports won't have that benefit.
can't wait
lol no
