This week's podcast he said he's going to some fighting tourney to do commentary for no pay, specifically for exposure bucks. We don't know if the exposure bucks thing is a joke but it very well might not be. Who the hell knows what their finances are like; we know the YouTube dollars don't matter to them which means the only thing left are the Twitch subscriptions and Podcast ads there have recently been a few podcasts where there are no ads, which means there aren't enough people listening to the podcast who are hitting up the ads to justify giving them more ads. Pat's probably fine even if he can't follow his own streaming schedule, has Paige's help, and having whored himself out to the memespewing retards in the audience.

If you ask me, they missed something of a small golden age of LPing in 2019. They could have made a short-term sacrifice and inconvenience and LP'd that shit together to reinforce the past user base's interest rather than just not play those fucking games, play them with uncharismatic people, or just slow-drip it like they have been. RE2, KH3, AC7, Yakuza, DMC5, Sekiro, MK11. It's such a fucking large number of premium properties all in this year. It could have super helped build a library of content or rally the base to show they got back on the horse.

They left money on the table not doing these games as traditional LPs. They hated not having hands on the controller while the other guy played like shit, like Pat's impressions of MGS5 were ruined because of Liam's playstyle. And the thing is, we now know these can't catch the details firsthand and need YouTube/Twitter scholars to help them so why the fuck does it matter if you have to watch some guy play it.
