It depends on the character. For example, Lancelot's fireball seems to have a couple seconds of cooldown compared to Katalina's all the time because his is more powerful. It also depends on how you do the move since there will be different cooldowns for:

If you use circle which is heavy attack while inputting a skill, either with the skill button or with the technical input (quarter circle forward + circle) you will do the EX version. If you do triangle you will do the medium and if you do square it will be the light

You know that latter part isn’t that unlikely. Just about every ASW game has a easy as shit Gatling combo through lightest to heaviest hit with all their characters. GG has that and that doesn’t mean it has natural autocombos.

It’s the most natural combo to do in these games when you’re new to a character or the game in general and ABC-special is the bread and butter for this particular scenario.

Well you’re not exactly wrong considering Granblue is made by a lot of classic FF guys and the main artist too who also did a lot of early art of FF14 funny enough. So FF designs are definitely shit you’ll run into for sure.

My guess is that they plan on doing a huge amount of reveals around July-August in both the Granblue summer festival events in Japan and EVO in Las Vegas. Cygames are confirmed to be sponsoring EVO 2019 and they have the money to have an entire mini-event revolving around Versus there. I could imagine several trailers confirming two to four characters at a time if they're going to reveal everything at the last minute. As for release date, I'd hazard a late August to early September window.

As much as I hate "mobage milking" I don't really like the traditional "finish" to a game since for the most part there's gimmick and theme mechanics that aren't really developed and by continuing the game it allows them to increase the ways for the consumer to enjoy the game. especially these days where they sell a quarter finished game as "early access" and if you're lucky it gets half-way done by the time they quit and leave with their stolen sheckles.

In the first interview they said the story would mainly be a new thing, but some early events would be covered. And we need someone to beat up there. You get free crystals (freemium currency) from first clear of content, logins, and events
On top of celebration events which give out free crystals and free rolls which will feed you shit
You get about ~70 SSR gacha characters or summons a year from free shit and SR's are increasingly strong with more teambuilding options to supplement any rng bias you end up having and even then, the revenant weapon and oracle series characters ensure that you're able to field a meta team in any element if you commit.

But who else would be low iq pick. Bea would be perfect Unga character with comeback mechanic tied to her. She needs to be tied

There's no daily flow but freebies are common enough and content release which comes with currency is extremely reliable compared to most everything in the market. There's enough free currency you can earn from permanent content as a free player to make 300 rolls too, which at the end of it lets you pick a gacha character from a rotating list if you make them all at once. Most of the power is in the time you invest as well, so while a little bit of money spent does help a lot on special deals, there're rapid diminishing returns on spending a lot of money. That said, the game has been called Grindblue Fantasy for a reason, it takes fucking forever to get anywhere whether you play free or spend a lot of money.

I don't know of any gacha game with a model I like better than Granblue but gacha games are gacha games none the less and shouldn't ever be recommended on good faith. If you're determined to play, reroll for something you like and then do your best to keep patience and only roll when you have 300 or during free roll periods. Patience more than anything else, including money, is rewarded in the game.

Newbie question here.
How the fuck do I begin to work on a grid? I have recently plateau'd at around rank 22-23 and can essentially not budge past it for a lack of better weapons in each of my grids.
I am now unable to go past storyline 116 without retreating twice every mildly difficult mission, which sucks.
Most of my grids are composed of all the handouts that you get for starting the game, which easily make you blast through the start, but naturally this has left me without exactly knowing how to build them from scratch and guides on the matter are absolutely meme tier atrocious.

Light wants an initial grid of Guns, but Swords are the much better long term investment. Good luck getting them though.
Dark wants Claws ideally, though you can toss a few Axes in so you're not entirely dependent on Enmity.

Claws are still ultimately what you're looking for though, Axes work as filler in the meantime but Claws are where it's at.
It's definitely tedious early on, but you only really need to do it enough to get a 0* Claw grid, everything else from there on is stats until you're capable of 4*ing them when you hit High Level content.

Eternals really aren't THAT necessary, at least not moreso than T4 classes and SSR Seraphics are.

Are they properly skill levelled? Claws do better damage the less HP you have, so if you have units that are good at lowering their own HP quickly you can get a lot more out of them sooner as well.
