Definitely got a few flaws, yeah. A remake/remaster of some kind would hopefully fix most of those, but I doubt that'd ever happen.

It's kind of sad that Sonic side shit repeatedly has to have throwbacks to heroes. Shadow was mistake, 2006 was a mistake, Penders stupid shit pretty much retconned the entire Shadow/Master Emerald story (So Emerl or the Knuckles clan) and the Wisp saga leaves absolutely nothing to base a cool setting off due to unbelivable shit writing and a lack of any development or interesting characters unless you really love red bowser.
So you're stuck with games repeatedly forced to reference Heroes and repeatedly bringing up Silver/Blaze despite his game retconning itself out of existence.
