does it hold up?
Does it hold up?
yes
Yea, but it needs more maps and stuff. Already tired of the same few maps.
The only modes matter in this game are Frontline, Duel and Deathmatch. Horde and BR a shit.
this. only 4 maps and some of them are insanely one sided like Taiga and its gets really old being forced to join a team thats getting stomped
I like horde
...
they need to balance the current maps and add more as soon as possible
The maps are small, and there aren't many of them. You don't even get to protect something apart capture the flag. Destroying shit is only limited to what players create. If you want to bard it up properly, you need an external program. Doesn't help gaining money is kind of shit and takes a long time
I've refunded the game after two hours of play
No, it's garbage and it's sales numbers/rating prove that. Was definitely garbage.
This, maps need a lot of reworking
Blue has a bit of an advantage on Camp
Blue has a big advantage on Grad
Red has a massive advantage on Mountain Peak
Red has a massive advantage on Taiga
I've heard the game isn't really optimized even if you have the most current parts
also that the netcode is shit
are these true?
Would be amazing if it had more content. The lack of maps is honestly unacceptable. It needs at least ten to have some variety.
Test
>play deathmatch
>pit or contraband 90% of the time
play other gamemodes
I wish Horde would be better, its so close to being a fun downtime game to just chill to. Just needs more enemy types and rebalacing damage ratios
Yes, but needs updates.
-more maps
-layout improvements to existing maps, especially Camp
-smarter AI that would actually make singleplayer challenging
-campaign mode?
There were server issues on launch, but they're largely fixed. Netcode is fine, but you need sub 70 ping. This isn't due to poor betcode, but rather the nature of the game, as much of advanced play relies on reaction time and precise timing. The key is to use the server browser to find low ping servers.
As for optimization, my gtx 1070 runs it fine on high settings. No frame stutters.
Game is optimized really well actually, netcode is good too but apparently games with more than 50 players lag uncontrollably after the recent update. That's pretty much it
I enjoy the game, have about 45 hours but I haven't played in a week, there's no real progression to bring me back and I'm not super competitive so I'll return when there's more content.
Its a solid and fun game.
>Blue has a bit of an advantage on Camp
Got 5 kills with catapult when blue tried to capture river. Catapulted the archers throughout the entire game. Blue has no advantage on Camp so on the off chance that they do win, their team is full of pros or Red is just absolutely dogshit
If the players were decent you'd have kept getting BTFO'd off the catapult by horseniggers. My main 2 problems with camp is that red spawns and spends most of the time out in the open so 2 horsefags just going around in circles wreck havoc on the entire team. That and as soon as blue takes mid and uses the explosives that just so happen to be 2 inches away from the closest objective, red has a hell of a hard time trying to penetrate and maintain mid ever again. Then it just snowballs from there.
Billhooks exist, horsefuckers aiming for catapults are easy targets if you have some competent players.
