Had my time with it in 2008 with Oblivion Lost 2.2, then in 2009 with AMK 1.4. Good fucking times. Waiting on CoC to get more updates.

I couldn't get into it my first play through, dropped after an hour or so. Then after letting it collect metaphorical dust for a couple years I went back and gave it another go. Got hooked, beat it, bought the sequels and beat those too and they're now some of my fondest gaming memories.

I need 10 more STALKER games.

I just ran close to isolated enemies and shot them point blank at the head, broke line of sight of the others, and repeated. Wasn't so bad. Moment you get a rifle is a big upgrade. Get a SCOPED rifle and all your problems go away. The VSS is my baby.

ZRP is just bug fixes and QOL improvements you can add if you want. Models and textures I'd argue not being vanilla, but not ZRP.
