What’s the puzzle

sit still for 2 minutes straight

Mr Saturn or whoever literally tell you to do nothing at all, how would anyone fail that?

How would the player ever know to do that?

they get told by a mr.saturn in the town before.

Is that graal online classic?
Holy shit im nostalgic as fuck now

As much as I fucking love Earthbound, this "puzzle" was bullshit.
What a shitty idea.

Zoomers get the fuck off.

This Chrono Trigger?

what the fuck, it's obviously earthbound

WAIT

I realized that right after posting but damn I remember graal and that had some amazing experiences
I wonder if the game is still up today?

t. brainlet

Which piece are you referring to? Me saying doing nothing for three minutes is bullshit, or calling Zoomer retards Zoomers?

Because the game came with the strategy guide.

Even without the strategy guide, a Mr. Saturn tells you to do it.

Still doesn't make the puzzle any less dumb though.

You can't include puzzles today that players can't solve. If there's ever a hard puzzle people will just look up the answer.

And you can't do ARGs because people just datamine you.

I think graal is up?

You can do what Crosscode did
Make puzzle reliant on your brain AND speed
Wait until so many players complain how they watched youtube videos and still can't beat the puzzle because they're a speed-let.

I always liked strategy guides for the world design and art, but it feels damn lame to have it hand you everything in the game on a platter. The only time it should be justified to use a FAQ is when you can't advance due to something like a fucked up mechanic, or something it would be impossible to know like in those old Sierra adventure games.

Most of the old Lucas Arts and Sierra Online point and click adventure games.

Never used FF7's guide for the main quest
But the side quests it was necessary

I don't mind that, side quests being hidden makes them special.

Purposefully made obtuse so they could sell guidebooks due to piracy.
It wasn't uncommon for an adventure game to sell more guidebooks then game copies.

For optional/side content, guides are fine. I don't think anyone is masochistic enough to try and do all that stuff in modern FF games without using a guide.

YES I SEE NOW

>puzzles arent even puzzles but bad game design but people are uncomfortable calling it out because it was made before 2000

I still don't know how to do it.

You won't like what Graal has turned into.
It's become a really bad mobile game.
The PC version still exists, but it's dead.

Well considering I don't think that anyone would have a hard time if they were actually paying attention.

Ugh what shit game design making me shit still for 3 minutes. I need to be KILLING something or flossing.

NO HINTS
