PS3 version, but the digital ps3 version has some weird scaling/aspect ratio issues. Dunno if it'll bother you but you'd need the physical ps1 disc to not have that problem

play it on an emulator, you can use the quality hack which gets rid of the black bars at the top and bottom. can also use the randomizer.

I think My Life in Gaming has a good video on every SotN version available,if you're interested. Shilling aside, I'd recommend the PS3 version, as it's more consistent and doesn't have any of the audio issues that plague the PS4 version. Also, the voice acting is pretty bad, and not in a good way, like the original.

The PS3 version is the original game. The PS4 version is a port of the PSP version, which was itself an unlockable in the Rondo of Blood PSP remake. The PSP version of SotN changes a few things here and there, most notably the voice acting. It's "better", but it's not the original hammy shit voice acting that some fans prefer, instead you get something more like a standard anime dub with yuri lowenthall and all that.
