The game is finally sub 20 bucks on GamersGate with the code SHEAPGAMER.

Is it worth it? Or it's just another childish JRPG about saving the world with the power of friendship and believing in yourself?

I’ve only heard good things about so maybe it’s kino

its exactly what you think it is. its a solid "okay". it isn't nearly as good as the first, but its comfy.

Nigger you already asked this hours ago, stop shilling your site and coupon code.

>gamergate
fuck off back to pol

dilate

Is the combat fun at least? Steam reviews say the game was stupid easy until they added harder difficulties later on but then again those difficulty modes are just simple HP/damage modifiers like in Bethesda games.

???

It's a legit website selling Steam games, similar to Humble, GMG, Fanatical etc.

it's got some fun mechanics, i didn't beat it though, was not very interested in the story

music was disappointing, only the dog town had a good track

It's pretty okay. Not bad, but nothing really special about it.

have sex

also lmao i totally forgot about the lisa simpson thing

its okay
graphics are great and the combat is an improvement over the first game
the music and gets really tiresome to listen to as the main theme is played more times than it should
also the story is not engaging at all and does have some childish/cliche things, but its tolerable
only get it if you really have nothing else you are interested in

The game does start whit a nuclear holocaust.

Hmm, guess I'll get Trails of Cold Steel 1+2 or DQ11 instead for my JRPG fix then.

It's an extremely comfy game with fun combat and good humor. I liked it.

It's really bland. Every time I thought I was going to an interesting area it just turned out to be boring as fuck. The kingdom building is a boring waste of time shit phone game.

DQ11 is WAY better

This is important. Does the late game or dlc introduce any cute rodent girls to interact with?

The only complaint I hear is the difficult, which in turn they added a Hard mode.

Is Hard Mode any good? Is it actually harder?
I actually like how Dragon Quest 11 made things a lot harder with their higher difficult settings, so im hoping this game can do the same.

>DQ11 is WAY better
I suppose it is, but it kinda looks derpy compared to Ni no Kuni II. Sorta like plastic children toys with tons of UE4 shaders.

there are some side quests you can do for these rat ladies

Played 30 hrs, quit at last chapter. Environments are bland and non interactive, enemy variety is top tier for repetitiveness, the difficulty does ramp up and requires grinding, kingdom building goes on 2x longer than the game.

To a point predictable story.

It’s mediocre. Not bad or good really

Liking grisela

It's shit, there's about 7 enemies that are reskinned for the entire game. Towns are decent enough but overworld is chibi shit and doesn't reward you for exploration. There's really shitty forced mobile-tier kingdom building and field battle bullshit. Story is garbage. All the caves and forests are copy/pastes. Difficulty settings just make enemies dmg sponges and ohko you unless you're over leveled. There's a retarded combat tuner that you have to fiddle with constantly b/w battles if you want to actually do dmg to opponents at high difficulty.

>that sidequest for smelly shoes

How does it compare to Tales of Zestiria/Berseria?

Haven't played them so I can't say user, sorry. It's most likely not worth your time though.

Oh well... I really like the graphics and the shota bait protag though.

It's a game about the President of These United States, user.

You can find it online for free, if you don't have a data cap there's no harm in giving it a go

Tani is cute.

>SHEAPGAMER
what are they trying to say?

Valkyria Chronicles 4 was also sub-20 bucks
I was really tempted

The game is shit.

I'm not sure what experience everyone else here had, but the combat is ass. The game by default is braindead easy, so they patched in two difficulties. Both are fine at the start of the game, but by the midway point the enemy scaling is ridiculous. Your group of 3 combat characters is always going to consist of you and 2 dead npcs on Hard or Expert. The City building is farmville timegating. Most quests are brainless fetch quests. The "strategic" war games battles are trash, they revolve around grinding battles above your level since losing has no penalty, and the rock paper scissors aspect can be ignored by spamming archers

It feels like an rpg made for little kids

Hard mode gives the game "regular" difficulty, everything died WAY too fast before the option was updated in. Just don't play it on very hard or normal and you'll have a good time. The combat feels tight and story is straightforward but enjoyable. I bought it at launch and even if it has flaws I got about 50h out of it before post-game. At $20 it's a solid game

The combat isn't genre limit pushing like Sekiro but it's at least well done action combat. You can keep your party alive by inputting item uses when needed. The city building is a bit of a let down but the Pikmin wars are enjoyable imo. I would at least suggest anybody interested to pirate and try it because it's really an alright game with a wholesome Ghibli vibe. I really liked the music but it's divisive because it's all orchestral

Does the game still run like ass on pc? Its to late to refund it, but when I first played it I was getting 20fps on a 1070. Every fucking support thread was like "set your priority to real time, disable your other monitors, balance this goose egg on your mouse for 10 seconds while singing africa".

70-100 fps on a GTX 1050 Ti:
youtube.com/watch?v=GTL8GeM0-Tg

Does your PC have a miner? lmao

I can play games far more demanding with 0 issues, for some reason I can't get above 20fps and stutters like hell. The only way it could play worse is if didn't boot up at all.

Fuck you for reminding me about that user, fuck you
