It feels pretty fucking good that this game can actually break me again. By Clara's campaign in the original I had mastered the mechanics to the point where nothing really phased me.

Fucking why? I can't imagine a game less conductive to that kind of shit, especially since most of the stuff I saw was based on classic and not the beautiful character models of 2. From what I remember in classic Haruspex and Bachelor have about 5 conversations total where they basically only trade insults.

Fighting four worms which can kill you in 3 hits and take about 6 knife hits each was ridiculous.

They're basically different stories but I'd recommend the Classic HD version. On top of having the missing routes the second game doesn't have yet, there's enough differences to warrant playing both games.
That and the old one is probably way easier compared to this, which is something I never expected I'd say.

Kind of disappointed there's no "great with kids" or something on Artemiy's side.

I played all three but its been years. I remember a lot of antagonism between the main characters. It definitely seems like the bachelor is meaner in this one but I don't really remember them being buddy buddy.

Holy fuck I went into two expecting it to be both casualized and simple due to my experience in the first one, but it beat my ass bad. Feels a lot less exploitable than the first one. Once I learned to scavenge classic became really easy, except for the later days where there weren't a lot of people hanging around to trade with.

I don't like how you can see the head of the person wearing the Executor costumes. There was a nice mystique to them because you didn't know what was beneath the mask, if there was anything at all.

In a bachelor original route yes, he is hardly give a fuck about haruspex, but in haruspex route he is saving you from prison, helps you work on the cure, he is mostly friendly and polite towards haruspex

Actually Dankovsky breaks Burakh out on the Bachelor route, which is pretty much the only time they meet.

Despite encountering each other a lot more in the Haruspex route, Burakh actually breaks himself out of jail in that run.

In Changeling they spend half the game trying to hunt down and kill each other for some reason

It's funny that the same type of people who always push "games as art" can't handle pathologic which is one of the few games where the gameplay ties into the deeper narrative of the game. It really shows that they just want to watch movies.

I agree the music could be more memorable like the first one. Maybe someone will make a mod that takes the music from the first and put it in the second. NPC varieties are fine, hunger is fine, and I haven't had any technical glitches or bugs besides frames dropping once in a while when I enter houses

Rubin isn't there. Also the only thing on my thoughts menu is, "A hospital is set up in the town theatre. Every Doctor is there." I assumed I still had time to do my shift if it wasn't past midnight but maybe not.

If Rubin isn't there, some random guy will be to do the same thing. You can still do your shift but you haven't been given your job yet.

I think I know the layout of the town better than the neighborhood I lived in back when I first played it.
There's enough differences that definitely make the first one worth a play, but you won't be more confused than usual if you jump into 2 right away.

Been doing good, but food has always been a bit of a struggle. Saved some dollerydoos to pick up from the grocery, but now they tell me they don't accept money only coupons.

Okay if there is one thing that actually pisses me off about this game its that shots don't incapacitate people. Its fucking stupid how guns jam half of the fucking time and bullets are so few and far between that if you shoot someone they still charge at you punching you in the face like nothing happened. It makes multiple enemy encounters fucking obnoxious. A single shot should at least send them running at a decreased speed or something.
