the only reason I know godot is it's the engine that one terrible porn game uses

see

Its the Blender of game engines

Can you please convince Godot community to stop making hipsterpixel games and get their shit together so that we get a game that looks at least like Quake 3.

I am seriously pissed off that whole concept of open source game engine is just screaming for collaboration and pushing boundaries but most people are still maining Unity and those who actually do use Godot are not making anything useful with it.

I wanted to make a project that could be used as a something that other people could use to easily make their own games of various genres, to basically make developing Godot games almost piss-easy, but when I presented the idea to community there was nobody who wanted to either help me develop the thing and there was no visible interest for having a building blocks for game development.
So I lost interest myself and then I also lost hope.
So now I just lurk and observe if maybe someone decided to make a decent game yet.

Name one (1) commercial game developed with it

Reflex already exists. We don't need another quake3 clone when we've already reached perfection and still no one played it.

No one is ever going to use this for a "commercial" game because you can't compile console versions, and it never will because it's free

Needs another 2-5 years but it's getting there.
