Nice "I actually didn't play the game!" confession you got there. Even the games "walking speed" feels like you're controlling a bullet train, there's no silly padding bullshit like grinding for "upgrades" to bog down the carnage, and the average enemy encounters pack some few dozen to few hundred foes per wave.
Not to mention it looks great and runs some 100+ fps on some ancient hardware.
