The selection of origin games is stretched so thin they had to include arcade versions and literal reskins of games already in the collection to get something resembling a respectable game count.
Besides, not like anything after that is worth including.
The PS1 games suck, the DS is a nightmare to port, and the PS2 games are probably enough to get their own compilation.

Contra Rebirth was fun, but given that Konami had three chances to put the three Rebirth games into each collection and didn't, they either plan on releasing them somewhere else or not at all.

I really don't see them doing another collection past this. Castlevania maybe, but Contra has been on the low for years and I see this as just an easy cashgrab.
To be fair, the first collection was for arcade games and Gradius Rebirth was never in arcades.
Seems like Konami is just going through their back catalog just so it looks like their video game division is actually doing work.
