No.

Yes. It's the best. Pic related. It's people who don't use it.

they'd use something like Brave if not Chrome

For me, it's Internet Explorer.

Can you hear me?

They blatantly sell your info to advertisers. I switched to Firefox for a while, since they don’t, but then some kind of malware changed the UI and I wasn’t able to find it anywhere, so I had to switch back to Chrome. At least Chrome handles streaming way better though.

FOR ME ITS FIREFOX

Google has no incentive to sell data to advertisers

They do though lol. I get ads for stuff I previously looked up on chrome every day. And yes I have ad blocker.

Waterfox and Opera

Truly, the average age here is around 14.

They also have no incentive to turn on my mic on my phone, listen in, and target ads based d on the conversations I'm having.... And yet...

What is the guy on the bottom reacting to?

>What are you goy-- I mean guys talking about? We-- I mean they have absolutely NO incentive to hoard your personal data and dole it out to advertisers in the name of """personalizing content""". And even if we-- I mean they did, what's the harm? It's just in the name of a better user experience, "bro"... don't be paranoid.

How do you see the ads then?

Anyway:
>advertiser wants to advertise to a certain demographic
>advertiser submits their ad to Google and specifies the demographic
>Google gathers users in the demographic and shows them the ad
The advertiser never has access to your data. If Google sold your data then they'd just be selling off their market share.

That is literally them giving you personalised ads. Companies pay them to just show their ads to the people that are more likely to be interested.
At most, they would sell general demographics and analytics to marketers. You're a literal nobody in a ocean of faces.

Why am I even replying and explaining to a fucking retard these things.

for me, it's iridium

that doesn't mean google sells the data to the advertisers, it means they provide targeted advertising as a service, which is their product, not user data. giving the data away and telling people which users like which products undermines their advantage as an ad service as it allows the clients to use that info somewhere other than google.

this is why you're not in charge of a billion dollar advertising company.

Imagine being this tech illiterate and use a rebranded Chromium made by wewontsellyourdatacrossourhearts ltd that lag behind every zero day exploit security patch.

So how can I buy land?
