The point is, OPs link doesnt remind me of Akira or Ghost is Shells cyberpunk at all. The city looks like something out of Mass Effect or some city colony outside of earth with cities full of holograms and extremely futuristic technology.
Cyberpunk is supposed to have some outdated shit.

No medium will ever be able to recreate the original cyberpunk because real life has surpassed certain aspects of what the original cyberpunk should have been.

Example, If you were to add shit like payphones on a cyberpunk world you'd think its dumb because nowadays you don't really see many payphones. At beast you'd see some sort of unit to charge your futuristic hologram phone.
But in original cyberpunk you'd see outdated stuff from the 90s.

Not to mention mega structures are retarded from an engineering perspective and 2077 seems to try to be more grounded than something like BladeRunner where a lot of the environment was symbolic

CDPR showed a god tier teaser and everyone was hyped to finally have an openworld "cyberpunk" : flying cars, very large buidlings, crazy lighting, super crowded city....
Once they realized that it was going to be much work, they pussied out. Even the fuckng tabletop game maker said in an interview that cyberpunk for him was like blade runner.
