How do I emulate this without it looking like garbage? Enemies also seem to be broken too.
Also, do you think we will see a new Onimusha at E3 this year?
Onimusha
Capcom reportedly has several games on the RE engine in development right now. You can only hope Onimusha is one of them.
>do you think we will see a new Onimusha at E3 this year?
Capcom was probably testing the waters with the Onimusha remaster, and most zoomers and ign reviewers ended up shitting all over it for playing like a PS2 game, and for not having 'graphics as good as their phones games', so I have a feeling the series is dead again.
Well it's not a good game to begin with. They should've re-released 2 and 3 aswell..
>most zoomers and ign reviewers ended up shitting all over it for playing like a PS2 game, and for not having 'graphics as good as their phones games'
That's expected. I'm guessing the only way to bring it back is to make it play like a DMC game, which Capcom will probably do if it ever does get a sequel.
Capcom did release that Onimusha Warlords remaster so it's quite possible that another Onimusha is coming since it seems they want to use re-releases as a way to drum up interest in the franchise again like they did with the DMC4 current gen re-release.
>Onimusha
>Not a good game
Fuck you.
Onimusha Dawn of Dreams already changed the gameplay significantly, it was very close to DMC by then.
>They should've re-released 2 and 3 aswell..
won't happen, you can thank Inafune for his masterful skill of inflating budgets and having zero foresight for future ports or remasters. Odd given mega man by the time of the PS2 launched had multiple rehashes. the contracts were one time deals and the widow of Yusaku Matsuda won't renegotiate.
Reno wants nothing to do with capcom after being cheated over royalties and payment for 3.
You don't. Play Sekiro instead.
You mean Nioh, which is closer to Onimusha than Sekiro.
At least remaster Dawn of Dreams. It's the only Onimusha game to not use real actors for the faces, cheapest one to port and it's action focused so the zoomer journalists won't complain.
But it fucking sucks 2 and 3 will most likely never get ported.
>too poor to afford a $50 PS2
Come on man. What happened to your original one anyway?
>It's the only Onimusha game to not use real actors for the faces
actually there's 3 games that don't use real actors. Dawn of Dreams, Tactics on GBA, and Soul on web browsers/PS3. Tactics was actually ported to wii-u eshop which is just weird but this is just pointless rambling and semantics.
I'm not sure if you've been on Ebay but the fucking game alone goes for $30. Why would I pay that much to play one game?
Sekiro, Nioh and Ghosts of Tsushima proved that people are hungry for high budget Samurai/ninja games. Knowing Capcom, they think a remaster of an 18 year old game is enough to gauge interest and if that's not enough, then goodbye to Onimusha forever.
Hope to christ none of them are fighting game shit.
How pathetic that you have to blame inafune for everything.
Had no problems emulating it. Great fucking game
this
He's right though.
He's not.
Inafune did everything wrong and nearly killed Capcom. This is fact.
It's impossible to fix the menu glitch because there's a infinite feedback loop since one of the files cannot be emulated. Just need to live with it.
They've been re-releasing the Onimusha games on ps4/pc, Japan got some 2 recently
Unfortunately Dawn of Dreams just doesn't emulate well. The others do, but with minor lightsource issues that can be fixed with some fiddling.
Dawn of Dreams is my favourite of the series. I hope to play it again one day
Any way to fix the enemies? Some of them don't do the moves I've seen them do in the PS2 version and the flying enemies are completely broken, they just float in a corner and do nothing.
bring up the menu and take a screenshot
>Dawn of Dreams is my favourite of the series. I hope to play it again one day
Really? It was the weakest of the series to me but it's been over a decade since I last played it. What makes it your favorite?
Make sure frame skipping isn't on. I've personally not seen the enemies glitch so I'm not sure how you could troubleshoot it.
