So here's the rundown: if a store "runs out of keys", it means either they're lying, or they're technically incompentent, all the more reason to never ever buy games from these companies.

The original Battlefront 2 is one of the few games that I can remember running out keys without it being some sort of marketing trick.

I think it happened to GTA IV too, Rockstar gave Valve a ton of keys and they actually ran out like a decade later when it went on sale and the purchases spiked
