Thank you, the 5 others thread this day were of little use.

gasp

>trannies are not mentally ill
>video game hobbyists are mentally ill

Right. Btw any activity can lead to addiction. TV show binge watching can be an addiction, so is reading books, etc.

How can I take advantage of this for gibs?

and yet, being a tgay or tranny is not? what a joke.

Until it gets in the DSM, I don't give a fuck what WHO says.

>literally WHO

Why are you posting this here? Most of us don't even play video games. I haven't played more than 1 hour of a video game in 2 weeks.

>Patterns of persistent or recurrent behavior leads to conclusions about video games but not other things
Really makes you think

>video game hobbyists are mentally ill
Now did the article actually say that?

>video games is a mental health disorder
No need to thank me, trannytard. Go dilate.

If you skip school or work to play vidya for 14 hours a day then yeah. It's the same as drinking until your liver is fucked.

So the article literally says if you play a video game you're mentally ill?

can't take them seriously, this classification doesn't mean much if you aren't some fake fucker

Literally WHO

being a tranny isnt :^)

Please make Yea Forums addiction a disorder already so I can shitpost for taxpayer's money.

people get addicted to things that make them feel good, what a shocker

This. I thought I'd miss out on my daily dose of posts like , or , but thankfully there's another thread for me to post in.

Doesn't work if it's self-inflicted.

I can call each and everyone one of you retards and it would be 100% true.

>employer asks me what I do in my spare time
>tell them I do nothing but play video games
>they don't hire me
>can sue them for discrimination
feelsgood anons

There's nothing wrong with this as long as the criteria meets the addiction definition. I don't know why this needs so many threads.

>Oy vey, the goyim would rather have fun than work for us! There must be something wrong with them!

GAMERS RISE UP AND CHOP YOUR DICK OFF

Not until 2022 and you must fulfill a huge list of things for an entire year straight to be considered. Even then, good luck it meaning anything more than rehab.

It's not, i'm mentally ill. I need that cheese to survive

Define "addiction" please.

Begging HIV positive strangers to gangbang you bareback isn't considered mental illness, but playing too many videogames is.

>rehab
nah, maybe monthly visits to a psychologist and evaluation from a psychiatrist every 6 months
probably some antidepressants for a year and if you're lucky, benzos for a month
t. medfag

How dare you commit a hate crime so brazenly. I hope you enjoy your sentence of 90 days getting your holes poz'd

making fun of gamers is ableism

>be me
>be born the wrong sex
>get a vagina
>have to dilate every 6 hours
>go to work
>ask boss if I can take my dilation break
>he says I have only 5 minutes like every other healthy person
>incel coworker asks for his hourly nintendo switch break
>boss complies
>ask him why
>says we have to be mindful of the mentally ill

GAMERS RISE UP

The most accepted definitions include the following points:
1) dependence, which means you basically can't quit the stuff without developing symptoms
2) tolerance, which means dedicating a whole lotta time to the stuff and eventually needing more
3) having a notable impact in your life, rendering you dysfunctional either with or without the stuff, but directly caused by it
In most definitions, they require all 3 of them to be present in a period of 12 months, tho it varies with substances.
Most people are idiots, and believe use = addiction.
