In case of Steam, both release and chronological orders are identical.

Play 1>2>0 story wise, otherwise just play 0

Why would you try to ruin his experience like this when Kiwami 1 is literally DESIGNED around being played after 0?
It's not a faithful remake of 1, it changes a lot and expects you to play it after 0 with various of the substories being brand-new to Kiwami 1 and direct continuations of stories from 0.

Should I watch Season 1 of a tv series or start in the last one?

t.retarded donkey

Steam releases are in chronological order. Of the three, 1 is the most stiff in terms of controls, however 0 is actually a good starting point unlike most prequels

The problem here is the Kiwami games have changed and made chronological order make more sense

Play either 1-6 then 0. Or 0-6. Either way is fine.

you either play the release order (starting with ps2 games) or just 0 > K1 > K2 > 3-5 > 6

You're always supposed to play release order.
This is how it goes for everything.

There's only two valid orders:
Original 1 -> Original 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 0
0 -> Kiwami 1 -> Kiwami 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5

...

I only started 3 weeks ago, Already on kiwami 2, Start with 0

Anyone criticizing yakuza in here?

Hope they remaster the rest of the games for PC

Who actually thinks it's worth the effort of going through the originals instead of Kiwami/2 though?

Anyone that actually played them and knows the remakes are inferior in everything but graphics.

No, the combat is somewhat bare and exploring the overworld is a pain. Emulating makes both of these several times worse too.

>the combat is somewhat bare
Only in 1 and only before you get upgrades, 2 combat is literally identical to how Kiryu plays in all games up to and including Kiwami 1 when it comes to Dragon of Dojima style.
Eat shit zoomer, I wish I could murder every single one of you and get away with it while doing so with a merry glee on my face.

Big talk coming from a Millennial, Gayest generation in history, No one likes them

And yet us Boomers are still superior to the far worse evil that is you zoomzoom and the equally cancerous baby boomers.

Fuck shogi its literally inferior chess and all the AIs are godlike

This is the order for the best story experience
0 > Kiwami 1 > Kiwami 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > 6

>Only in 1 and only before you get upgrades, 2 combat is literally identical to how Kiryu plays in all games
When your progression in combat abilities is directly tied to how much you explore Kamurocho, Sotenbori, etc. and you're bombarded every two steps with some random enemies and 30 second load screens each and every time (not to mention slowdown from emulating), it becomes a soft lock on just how much you can accomplish between the time it takes and diminishing patience.
I played all of the original and about half of 2 before trying Kiwami/2 and I can say without a doubt that both the originals are worse.

>30 second load screens
What kind of wooden Riva TNT2 PC do you have?
>not to mention slowdown from emulating
Yeah you're a third world pisspoor shitter, no need to answer that.

Early baby boomers were based, Their children are utter fools though, Fucking yippies tried to rebel against the boomer, Look at where it got us

i play 1 0 2

>>What kind of wooden Riva TNT2 PC do you have?
>>Yeah you're a third world pisspoor shitter, no need to answer that.
>implying PCSX2 is a good emulator
>further using that retarded notion to ignore literally everything else I said
I guess original elitists really are full of shit.

Chances of 3, 4 and 5 remaster localization release announcement at E3?

Fairly high, I think. Sega did say in their last financial report that they wanted to focus more on PC and overseas markets.

I dont know if I'd go that far, Kiwami 1 for certain but Kiwami 2 feels more like a side-grade more than anything. Not really significantly better or worse, save for the lack of Crazy Ken Band

Maybe later, but then again the remakes were made for newcomers anyways and they already translated the games to begin with.

Hopefully. Although i dont think Sega really does much at e3 do they?

They are. Before Kiwami came out everyone was on the same page that yakuza 1 sucked shit as a game when taken in isolation. Now the remake is out and all of a sudden the original was a timeless masterpiece of unparallelled beauty.
Now Y2, I will agree the original has a certain number of features above the remake, but y1? No way

>ONLY CORRECT ORDER TO PLAY YAKUZA GAMES:
>1,3,2,KIWAMI2,0,6,5,KIWAMI1,4
>BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY
>PLAY DEAD SOULS FIRST
