Just block

He's too fucking fast and blocks all my hits
why can't I juggle him? Bullshit
You're right, no one has ever beaten Ninja Gaiden ever.
Git gud. Normal mode is easy as fuck compared to to hard and master ninja. There's also new content on higher difficulties, like new enemies. The Ryu Doppleganger only shows up on hard and above and will ruin your day.
Obvious falseflag. Do not reply.
I remember the first time I ever played NG, I beat this dude first try and felt like hot shit. I was never able to do that again.
double filtered
fuck now I want to play this
Ninja gaiden chads, anyone of you play the vita port? Do they run slower than the PS3 versions?
I ask because it runs at 30fps vs 60 and I know that gamespeed is tied to framerate in these games.
this fight on Master Ninja is 100x easier than Genichiro Ashina on normal difficulty
*makes you ragequit*
If it makes you feel any better, the reason why he is so hard is because he is the main villain and the final boss.
No it doesn't run slower, but the 30 FPS is painful in an action game like this.
Sekiro isn't a skill-based game. You learn patterns and then win fights easily. Ninja Gaiden Black has a skill floor most people can't reach and thus quit the game before even getting to the higher difficulties.
dont all these games have massive FPS issues?
At least its locked, my vita is hacked too so I can overclock for sigma 2
Only if you don't change the clocks, if you set maximum clocks on a hacked Vita the performance never drops below 30.
I meant for the console versions
This is a false flag to pit DMC fans against NG fans.
Sigma 1 has almost rock solid 60 FPS 99% of the time and both Black and NG2 are backwards compatible with Xbone and never drop framerate there.
Sigma 2 is also mostly fine framerate wise, but the censorship makes it a meh choice, Sigma 1 is just Black+ and isn't censored (unless you get EU version).

Fuck off bitch.
>being this blatant
google "subtlety" you fucking retard
damn, geralt has been hitting them steroid potions
I sadly don't have a PS3 or bone.
I was just worried that the vita version runs slower but since thats not the case I'm fine with 30fps.
Literal casual filter that separates men from boys
If you can't beat him you are not a man
just cleared that run from the save point to the boss in chapters on 3 flasks, holy shit lads, my heart was about to stop, the game was fair up until that point.
you'd be surprised when it comes to NG
I was more referring to him trying to start a flamewar about DMC
why is the movement so shit?
Ryu's turning radius is insane
>chapters
shit, meant Chapter 6.
run up the walls and attack, he cant counter that
He's not even hard in normal and can be fought normally like a regular enemy so I'm pretty sure you are memeing
oh, not even subtle about it
Is this the same guy or is this a legit posts this time? Thread's tainted now.
>Getting by on harder difficulties
>It's a tough challange and I'm struggling but it's a fun test
>Then there's these niggas that hunt in packs and throw a baillion exploding kunai that take half your health bar if you so much as stand in one place for 0.00000004 of a second
>Fun stops
pretty much what happened to me.
wheres the fucking lock on??
Standing in place is exactly what you are supposed to do since Sabaki is their greatest weakness. Wnd Run and a single shuriken throw are also important tools to dealing with them. Not blocking and trying to fight their mobility with your own gets you tagged by an exploding shuriken or hit by their zero start up anti air combo. If you get hit by a shuriken, time the dodge with the explosion, do a move with I-frames or failing that just block.
Is NG any good? Never heard any praise for it beyond "muh difficulty".
have sex
>Sabaki
what is this? and what is the ideal weapon to deal with them bitches?
t. roasted roastie wtih Tyrone Jr.
Sabaki means counterattack. Sorry, i was being fancy since that's the general term it's given later in the series and to separate it from the normal act of attacking after the enemy finishes theirs. So uhm, yeah just counter. Counter is very powerful in both NG1 and 2.
As far as weapons go the ninjas are actually entirely neutral, you can fight them easily with anything. Dragon Sword and it's variants can get a guaranteed Izuna Drop from their light counter if you do pic elated so that's really good. If you are playing Sigma you can also get it with DCTF as well since the light counter puts them in a lift stun.
They are the best action games ever made, indisputably.
Jokes aside I've actually decided to drop this game yesterday on chapter 15. That last tower climb was just ridiculous and those fishes and 2nd doku fight wore me down mentally so much that I couldn't continue. Just watched the rest on youtube and don't regret it
Fishes are literally free money, health and ninpo. The game literally tells you how to beat them, they can barely be classified as an enemy. Should have listened to Ayane.
>switchniggers get a shitty port of DMC1
>meanwhile vitachads get chad gaiden 1 AND 2
tecmo can be pretty based sometimes
Let me guess, you are comparing the first tutorial boss of NG to the last boss in Sekiro?
>DMC 1 port
and has the same price as the DMC HD Collection
I'm tempted to replay NGB to see how much of a shitter I became after 15 years (oh my god pls no).
The camera is the hardest "boss" you'll have in the game.
>playing serious games on handhelds
Ninja Gaiden isn't a skill-based game. You learn patterns and then win fights easily. Sekiro has a skill floor most people can't reach and thus quit the game before even getting to the higher difficulties.
I come back to NG every month or so and each time i need 1 or 2 days before i am back to my "alright" self. I haven't played the story of 1 in the longest time but my backlog is too big right now.
yeah that's where I quit
total bullshit fight
NGS2 on Vita does have massive FPS issues, the first one is fine outside of a couple of spots on master ninja, which don't really matter by now since you can overclock with hacks now.
Run up the wall when he is close to you and do a helm splitter.
I had fun on that fight it's just her RNG dodging was annoying.
"[Thing from game x] is impossible, fuck this memeshit. Overrated. Going back to [game y]." is a fantastic and simple bait template. I should use it. Imagine the possibilities
"This hadouken command is impossible, I knew you were fucking memeing me. Gonna go back to Smash 5 now."
"Spelunky is impossible, fuck this meme shit. Going back to DCSS."
Unless you are playing mission mode where her adds respawn every time she kills them and you have barely any resources then her fight is fine. Awakened Alma is the real bullshit.
I hated more the 2 horses. This guy wasnt so bad
It's called Divine Cicada Slash!
Ng1 was my GOAT until NG2. I know that's not a popular opinion but I love how they nerfed the block. The new weapons like the kusari gama were dope. Also the very first scene is the ultimate casual filter. It definitely is way more rage inducing but feels so rewarding when you figure it out. Literally no other game presents you with such a constant and consistent increase in difficulty at every new scene that also makes you feel like a fucking ninja as you complete the challenge.
They didn't nerf the block at all in 2 though
Well enemies in 2 have more abilities to break it than 1 so yeah technically you are correct but the end result feels that the block is nerfed which makes for a faster game more focused on keeping the offense going.
Hes probably playing on Normal too ROFL... Yes play the new casul mode action came.
Uhm i guess they did but i always found it very minor. Standing and blocking is still the default safest approach to all encounters in NG2. I only noticed a major nerf in RE where even the most basic enemy is practically on level with Fiend Genshin with the guard breaks and fast followups on top of unblockable attacks, it's overtuned even, in my opinion.
I'd say moving and blocking is the safest. If you stand still you get punished pretty quickly in 2 whereas 1 you can stand still and block for a longer time. I had to majorly change my play style from 1.
>30 fucking dollars for a port of a port
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Obviously i don't mean you're supposed to rip out your analog stick and throw it in the trash but on the contrary i really didn't change my playstyle much from 1 to 2 besides the new mechanics. It also depends on what version of the game you played, vanilla's lower health and projectile spam means you spend less time blocking and more time in IF frames while Sigma's higher damage means you need to be more defensive or risk your health vanishing. This only applies to the meme difficulty in both games though.
>Sekiro has a skill floor most people can't reach
I donno about NG, but this is super true for Sekiro.
>thus quit the game before even getting to the higher difficulties.
Sekiro isn't substantial enough to even have difficulties.
How is it true for Sekiro? Did you mean to say Skill ceiling? Skill floor is the level of skill required to beat the game, Skill ceiling is the highest level of skill that the game's mechanics allow for. Sekiro's floor and ceiling are very close to each other, there's not a whole lot you can do with it's systems.
Ninja Gaiden Black is great with lots of content. NG2 is a big step down, a 4/10 or so, it's just such an obvious rush job. Vanilla NG3 is basically a 1/10, it's DMC2 tier godawful trash. NG3 Razor's Edge is like a 2/10 - it's a polished turd where enemies block like crazy and you can basically never complete a single combo string. And everyone wants to forget about Yaiba, the NG version of the DmC reboot.
Get lost Ken.
Sekiro's skill floor is super high because it want you to react to attacks with very specific inputs.
Enemy performs a swipe.
Did you read and recognize the animation?
Are you close enough to step counter?
Do you have your finger on the Jump button?
If not, did you realize you don't and did you move it?
Did you press the button at the in time?
Did you remember to tilt forward in time?
This probably sounds retarded, but to those unfamiliar with action games will genuinely have trouble with this. It's the same for placing Attack and Block on shoulders. It might literally take too long for some to switch index fingers unless they are prepared. This is what I mean by skill floor, sure you could not counter in any way whatsoever, but that's the same as saying DMC can be beat by tapping gun and jump. No one actually plays like that.
Here's your you.
However it ALSO has a low skill ceiling. Because if you do have enough reflexes then you'll be bored out of your skull with most of the game as there is basically nothing beyond "Which one is this animation supposed to telegraph".
All of that is entry level stuff and it's presented in a very lenient way. Telegraphs that are counted in frames in other games are counted in seconds in Sekiro, there's a steady flow to the action like a metronome that facilitates player reaction as well. It's only daunting for people who are absolutely new to the genre, also because it does not follow the staple of difficulty as a teaching tool.
I do like Sekiro, not every action game needs to be pushing the limits, don't get me wrong.
Yeah I honestly don't get the projectile spam hate but I never played sigma versions. Yeah the projectiles suck but it's just a challenge to overcome and totally doable. The game never presents you with an impossible challenge. I remember Alma on the non black NG the first time. Had used up all my health potions and had to replay her so many times but there was no way in hell I was restarting the game. I feel like the biggest bs moment in the og is the fucking horsemen in the beginning especially the first time playing it. But still not impossible. It's sad there never be another game with such a rewarding and perfect difficulty curve. Too many ass creed babies that need press a to win.
Except reposting the same post but with the games switched doesn't work or change the facts.
NG black isn't that hard you just need to keep at it
You literally have to git gud in Ninja Gaiden. No shortcuts.
Start on easy, get better, then get to normal/hard.
NG is not that hard but takes some time getting used to It.
It pigeon holes you into doing moves that keep you safe from the projectile barrage on top of just not being a pleasant experience, both gameplay wise and for the senses.
Hang in there thread-chan
>obvious false flagging
Why isn't this bannable yet?
That's a really good falseflag. Not only did you establish NG as being hard, but then made the implication that DMC5 is way easier to try to create a schism Barry style
Why are enemies in jap games ALWAYS cooler than protagonist? I want to play as this guy
Are you sure the super ninja isn't the coolest character in the game?
You don't need to imply facts. DMC5 is easy even by DMC standards
Seconded. DMC 5 is not a hard game
Nigga you're literally talking about one of the few series that completely subverts this trope. You can use the same weapon he has with most of the same moves only they are even cooler.
As for looks, yeah he looks cool. Cooler than Janinou "HotWheels" Genshin that's for sure.
