Fire Isshin is so easy I don't understand how someone could say he's harder than fucking SS Isshin. His only tricky attack is One Mind which is trivialized by an umbrella, for everything else literally just run in a circle and stab him in the back.
>run in a circle
that works for almost every Sekiro boss
Probably because the fire floor blast.
probably because the majority of people fight him on ng+
guessing fire umbrella didn't work for that?
I did him on NG+2, still way easier than SSI on NG, and Emma is barely more of an obstacle than Genichiro.
You can tell where the fires are gonna erupt by just looking at the floor.
MADA MADA
UUUUUUUUUUUUUH SEKIRO.... Huhuhu, THEREFORE... SEKIRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH
anyone knows what score edge gives sekiro?since they give bb a 10 it's weird not score sekiro or at least not on mtc
I stopped playing this game when the only bosses left were the demon and Isshin.
Got fed up with the bullshit. A Bloodborne/Dark Souls boss and a 4 phase fucking faggot boss, no thanks.
personally I managed to beat him maybe after 4-6 hours and I proceeded to ng+ and now im stuck at old man isshin who is in my opinion even harder
>he still playing sekiro like souls and get filtered
based and sekiropilled
The demon takes a little bit of getting used to, but Isshin is ridiculously easy, he fights the exact same way as a normal enemy, just keep attacking him until he parries you, then deflect that, rinse and repeat until he dies. And obviously abuse mikiri and the jump whenever you can. If you can get him in a corner then it's even easier.
The only move he has that is a bit dangerous is his revolver because you can't see him pulling the revolver out in the tall grass.
I want to fight that nigga but I don't want to kill Emma or have that shit ending
savescum
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>beat him at first encounter fair and square
>some nightjar throws a shuriken at you and he cuts your arm off
what a fag
A shame we never a Nightjarbro boss/mini-boss, I was sure the fucker in the cutscene after the first Genichiro fight was up to something.
It was just to show you that Genichiro isn't a honourable bullshit samurai
YARE
Thankfully realistic though
I think the use of ogres, flaming bulls etc just shows how desperate the Ashina was. Anything fucking goes.
I wish there was a boss as cool as sword saint but with the motivation of shura ending Isshin. Sword saint was nice but it felt kind of weird because he's only fulfulling genichiro's wish. Owl is a much better fight in that regard.
>Boss doesn't stagger like usual when I attack him
How do I handle this? Grind skill points to increase attack power?
Don't spam attacks?
>Only trophy left is getting all skills
>Grinding Playthrough 3 endgame enemies
>XP requirements for more skill points keeps skyrocketing and I still have 24 points left to go
Who the fuck decided this needed to be a fucking trophy? I sure as shit ain't wasting my fucking time on another playthrough
git gud
Just play your favorite music while you farm the Outskirt, preferably on NG+ and later.
I don't, it's getting annoying once I want to stop their attack sequence.
YOOOO!!!!
When you think about it, during the Shura ending couldnt Sekiro still have fought Genichiro and SS Isshin? According to the ending he wiped everyone out so that would imply he at least fought Way of Tomoe Genichiro one more time.
Just parry/dodge it, most Sekiro bosses have hyper armor during their attacks.
the flaming bull idea was one of genichiro's wackier concepts
Fucker stole the idea from Tomoe, who saw the other bull when she visited the Palace
Seriously fuck this game on NG+ without Kuro's Charm and with Bell Demon.
Only Demon of Hatred and Isshin left, I am NOT looking forward to them
play ng with those conditions, its harder.
You can still cheese Demon if youre having too hard a time
>still haven't beaten isshin
i haven't played the game in months, i forgot i hadn't actually finished it. is it worth even trying or should i just restart at this point.
I wouldn't bother with making the game as hard as possible if I wanted to cheese the bosses.
I hope you didn't spend any points on the dancing dragon mask.
They really fucked up with the xp requirements for skill points, considering how useless most skills are.
CHI GA TAGITEKITA
honestly i wasn't going too bad (aside the ghost lady in the Mibu Village was really fucking hard without the charm and bell demon) until I reached Sword Saint, and he pushed my shit in for ages.
No, I got the mask but I was gonna wait until I got every skill before getting attack upgrades
But now I don't even wanna touch the game after I'm done with this shit
The Demon is fucking easy, but papa Owl and Isshin are absolute nightmares.
Oh, good. Then it'll only take a four hours instead of six. Just go to the upper tower first bonfire and stab the purple ninja that's there on the back. Then rest at the bonfire and repeat a billion times.
Break the cardboard wall between you and him to make the process faster.
Don't fall for the outskirts meme, I measured it and this is 6% faster.
Well the game is easy when you abuse running like an absolute faggot.
Walk away from Genichiro's combo and then deflect his last charged attack. That's my main tip for the final boss.
>using game mechanics is abusing
Why even bother parrying
>the demon of hatred is the sculptor
>dogen is the rice monkey
Sekiro is a game.
how do we know you didn't just do the bug to knock the demon off and go straight to isshin?
>rice monkey
excuse me
This is what weebs choose to like.
Retards
Give Emma your monkey booze
The demon moves from bitch to just hard if you use the umbrella to turtle his jump attack and the whistle on third phase to deal as much damage as possible and close the battle fast.
He's still a piece of shit and absolutely loathsome boss though. Skippable.
Isshin is fine once you realize his sword combo is made deliberately slow to throw you off balance and adjust accordingly. Keep running away to bait his Battou technique, miss, run in and hit, repeat.
Mikiri for the lance, or jump kick. The lightning last phase is actually easier as you can stun him and deal damage with reversal.
Just git gud.
then why do you think umbrella is the solution when actually the feather is?
owl killed genichiro...
it should be obvious imo, but hyper armor exists in relation to how big of an opening is presented during the attack. if you're efficient then you should still be able to deflect after hitting hyperarmor.
demon is gayer with every playthru. i beat game 11 times so i know this for fact.
you measured stuff but somehow failed to notice that fountainhead is vastly superior?
here is a decent grinding strategy: go to the flower viewing platform and turn around. backstab first guy. sprint attack 2nd guy and use deathblow to cancel spearfish's lightning. kill speargal with sabimaru.
I love Isshin's voice
MAYOEBA YABURERU
I love starting Emma's fight and then standing still. She suddenly seems like a terrible person when she says maybe she should've killed you sooner.
also fire isshin exists because he cut sculptor's arm off. that's why demon returns on his death and saint isshin coincidentally has no fire.
The sculptor is the rice monkey
You know that he's only saying that "fulfill my grandson's wish" thing to be polite and keep up appearances, right? He spent his life loving sword fighting. He was warned he should stop or he'd die. He didn't. Do either of those things. He's a Kensei. His motivation is to fight you for the glorious sport of it. Before you say that's dumb or unrelatable, remember that you are playing hard video games possibly multiple times for fun instead of doing literally anything more valuable.
>Why even bother parrying
Because it's fast, intense and feels way more satisfying than running around taking potshots like a faggot. It's a SP game, why do you want to play as safe as possible?
Isshin LOVES fighting and was practically looking for an excuse to test your skill. His motivations are completely reasonable and fine
>both final bosses have a cutscene before the initial fight and then another cutscene for the real fight
>your movement is also slowed down walking to both places
the most obnoxious thing about both fights. yeah what a good idea to do thing for a boss most people are going to die a bunch of times to. remember how in demon's, all the dark souls games, and bloodborne how any cutscene would only play once? that was pretty nice.
DLC when
>your movement is also slowed down walking to both places
only true for owl
>any cutscene would only play once
bullshit, cutscenes between phases always play no matter the game
>Not climbing the rooftoop and jump-ambush the purple spearfreak from above
> Finally beat SSI Without Charm and Bell Demon barely surviving, used all my gourds and even fine snow in ng+++
> Backed up my savefile so I can fight him whenever I want
> Try him with charm and whithout Bell Demon
> Only use 2 gourds and beat him easily
Wow, that's some good training for the upcoming DLC...
Because I am not a retard who would waste my free time to cheat in videos games. I have only weekends to play.
